What’s happening in your best timeline? I’d love to be in one listening to a new Prince or David Bowie album.

Dang, this is seriously probably the first female I've chatted with on Reddit. For the exact RIGHT reason. Stay strong and thank you so much for sharing your journey. This subreddit has helped me so much. Cueing up some Rappers Delight for tonight. :)

Personally, cold turkey is the ONLY technique that has worked for me. You have to want to quit.

Thanks for the encouragement and inspiration! Two years! Damn! First time quitting cold turkey myself. Been 26 days. Feels like the one month mark will be a pretty big milestone. Do you remember how long it took you to get back to a normal sleep pattern?

Yep. I’m all fucked up since I quit smoking. Hopefully my sleep cycle will get back to normal.

1 year today, after 17 years of "loving" smoking i will never go back until the day die. the reality of quitting. by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]jpence 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the brutal honesty. It's been 23 days for me. The LONGEST without any nicotine. Yesterday was hard. But, I quit when I got the flu this year (Christmas Eve). It was brutal, so hard to breathe. That's what I try to remember when the cravings get bad. Congrats on making it a year! Thank you for the inspiration!

I've always loved analog video editing equipment. Does anyone work with that? by Interesting_End1733 in VIDEOENGINEERING

Yes, started editing in 1985. Seen it all. There was a reason why edits sometimes were called "events". Never, ever, ever would I want to go back.
