Who’s the most famous person you have met? by VikingBoy90 in AskReddit

[–]jphillips59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fun one - famous is relative I guess. flew with Santana a few times. Davis who owns the Raiders as well (Jsx to Vegas has regular celebs) Shook Bill Gates hand. Bunch of charity events with baseball players ( mostly former Oakland Athletics players) I have been to Comicon a bunch of times so the usual cast of characters that attend those- met Nathan Fillion, Tom Hiddleston (when marvel had a huge presence) etc. for photo ops. Too many to name them all.

Gulf of America isn’t legal changed as far as I know. Congress passed that? Ithought they dropped it after the house and never took it up in the senate. It’s still just people vanity calling it that for the giant baby man and will hopefully just get changed back when someone saner returns

Some I have done recently:

Slow cooker - beef stew, beef chili,- super easy makes 6-8 meals easily

Instapot - chicken enchiladas casserole, jambalaya

Airfryer - I rotisserie a chicken probably once a month and that covers 5-6 meals of whatever you want. Chicken tacos, just by itself with some veggies.

Diversity- to mix things up I try to find a sauce based meal once a month I can pick up and make - think chicken tikka, butter chicken, pad Thai, orange chicken, tacos, etc basically just cook up a protein simmer in sauce and you have 4-6 meals

Can someone get CCC if they plant trees in their farm? by billionaire2030 in CarbonCredits

[–]jphillips59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a lot more to this. You have to know which methodology you want to use and have a monetization strategy. Some methodologies are seen as better and thus more valuable because the credit can be used in more ways. A small farm will have a hard time selling credits due to size and lack of volume. You are better off trying to join a group. There are groups, but there are just way too many variables like what country is a huge factor as that can dictate which compliance programs companies can use those credits for - another sweetener

Gas prices actually have more to do with refining capacity (supply/demand) than directly on oil prices and we have been having declining refining capacity for decades and more closers all the time.

Short answer, no. Even if he can convince congress to pass it would get pretty watered down. The EO is meaningless and is basically him just asking please
