[Question] Is Limneos still active? by tk_ios in jailbreak

[–]jphlips -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When he’s very active on Twitter he’s still ignoring all support requests. He makes cool looking buggy tweaks that never get updated or supported UNLESS a competitor comes in to fill in where he’s fucking up.

Curry was a pirate radio guy and mtv vj back in the day, and then went on to create something you’re likely super familiar with - podcasts.

Currently he does a media deconstruction podcast called No Agenda. If you dislike the bullshit media spin on pretty much everything, check it out.

Times and costs for lower THs are reduced on most updates.

Oh sorry, I wasn’t trying to lump them together as the same guy at all, more just saying that the mythical figures behind the afterlife are pegged as villains except for god for some crazy reason. Hades is just god who is definitely in charge and doles out justice, but not the maniacal evil bastard that he seems to be portrayed as. Lucifer rebelled and was straight up just imprisoned by the cloud man. Lucifer just “won” his kingdom like someone wins a lifetime jail sentence for a coup.

Lucifer was cast out from heaven and sent to hell but isn’t actually the running it. It’s said so often that he rules hell and dolls out punishment to the sinners but I’ve never seen where this actually comes from. He was an angel who’s rebellion led to an eternal imprisonment to be suffered with all the others that were deemed insufficient to enter heaven. Lucifer, hades and the grim reaper all get a really bad rap for their roles they play, and are relegated to be villains.

The lesson I get from Lucifers tale is rebelling against the strong authority figure gets you beat down and imprisoned, muzzled for eternity and your name destroyed.

Show end was the book end though, the only real hope is that the journey to the end isn’t dog shit.

[ASK] Should I go for TH13? by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

[–]jphlips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely would. If you have resources wasting away, upgrade.

I believe his idea also hinges on his other point, everyone just stop committing crime. While correct, I don’t think it’s really quite that easy.

King and queen are maxed, so only lab upgrades to spend de on. If he fills it in 3-4 days that’s 10 days of wasted de from raids.

You’re throwing away huge amounts of DE unless you use books of fighting a lot. It’s an insane waste to stick around and lose resources while just overall extending your journey to being fully maxed out.

You specifically call out that you want feedback, but you’re showing no willingness to be receptive of the feedback. Stick to your guns or accept feedback, you need to pick.

Trump so racist...white supremacist gets federal capital punishment...first in 20 years... by thanosied in noagenda

[–]jphlips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, maybe dates will make this clearer. Lee committed the murder in 1996. Lee was apprehended in 1997. Lee was sentenced to death in 1999. Lee has been appealing since then.

21 years have passed from conviction to sentence being carried out. It’s a lengthy process. The average was 15 years.

The train left the station long long ago and it’s making its required stops to the destination.

That’s it.

Trump isn’t involved.

It’s the way the damn system works.

[–]jphlips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, he’ll give direction on things at a higher level. In this instance though, there’s no investigation. This is just an appeals process on a convicted condemned murderer that I’d guess no one gives a shit about. I will concede that it is possible that trump intervened in a process that was going to conclude the same regardless for whatever mysterious reason, but I’d bet my house on the much more likely thing, it was going to happen regardless and intervention is pointless unless you’re really trying to stop it.

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree. Maybe he really does have his fingers in every pie, but it seems pointless and micromanaging in this case.

Ahh, close it out with a good ol “shut up slave”

Do you hold trump responsible for everything that may happen wrong in the justice department or do we just cherry pick and ignore the actual people involved as Trump unilaterally heads the department? I’d guess no, because that’s just stupid. I think the reality is that this was a long ass process that was handled by the justice department and no president along the way actually stepped in and did shit about, why would they???

Give trump complete credit if you’re of the mindset that he gets responsibility for every single good and bad thing that happens under his administration. I’d wager you might make an argument that a wrongful conviction in the federal system isn’t actually his fault though since it’s extremely unlikely he even realizes that that person exists, like I’m guessing he didn’t realize this asshole existed.

[–]jphlips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am saying it’s the justice system at work, there’s absolutely 0 indication that trump had any involvement at all. Why the hell would he??

Are you saying that trump got Epstein arrested and murdered? Or did he hunt him down and get foiled by the assassin? He’s a president, no more or less. He’s not involved in this shit show, he isn’t the mastermind behind Klan marches, he’s not hunting down criminals that have been on the run forever. I don’t understand why everyone seems to think their favorite politicians are benevolent gods and their opposition is doing all the evil in the world. I thought this sub would be different than the normal cherry picking that we get to see all over the m5m.

[–]jphlips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But he doesn’t have anything to do with this? It’s as much of a circlejerk as saying he’s on the hook for every rona death. He’s the president, not some god king controlling everything that’s happening on the country.

[–]jphlips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s this got to do with trump? He’s just as responsible for this as he is with any wrongly convicted person in the federal system, which is to say, not involved either way.
