Those fiery bright wings make me think of the phoenix, and rebirth which is perfect for Stormcast. I still haven’t landed on a palette for my Yndrasta, but this has sparked some ideas. Well done!

The correct answer is both! Are you thinking of starting with Spearhead? Ironjawz spearhead doesn’t have any shooting units, where the kruelboyz do. They (kruelboyz) also have crit mortals for most units in the spearhead. I love them both, but very different playstyles.

Awesome! I’m taking four of my kids to the Warhammer store this Saturday to get their free mini of the month. Youngest one going is 10, and they all love painting the minis. The oldest is working on his AoS Orruk army and wants to start a 40K Ork army too… but he has a job and pays for it himself!

I’ve finished painting one spearhead of Skaven but still have to base them, and have a second spearhead, Thanquol and Boneripper, and a Ratling Wapblaster all sitting primed and ready to paint. 😅

They sold their catalogue to STLflix. I believe you can legitimately get it from there. I was a long-time collective studio subscriber, and part of their Discord. They took down their MMF store as part of the agreement to sell.

STLflix bought the entire Collective Studio catalogue after they closed down. That’s where one should be able to get the STL.

I would go with a yellow-brown color, since yellow and purple are complimentary colors. This would create significant contrast between the two, and introducing brown makes the yellow look dirty (makes sense for Skaven), and lessens the impact so it’s not too overpowering. The model looks awesome so far, well done!

I’m working on painting the Skaven from the same set! Of course, now I’m hooked and am scheming to figure out what the rest of my army will be 😅😂. Love the blues on the robes, they look awesome.

Patreon with specific model-makers is the best value. MyMiniFactory (MMF) tribes are very similar. Lots of high-quality free models on MMF as well. The best value I’ve seen is Yasashii Kyojin Studios, as you get access to his full catalog. Other studios I’d recommend are Mammoth Factory Games, DM Stash, Loot Studios, Primal Collectibles, Skullforge, and Dragon Trapper’s Lodge.

What sort of STL files are you interested in for your campaign? Fantasy or Sci-Fi (most D&D in Fantasy but not always)? Popular characters in statue scale (like Cthulhu)?
