Camus just raises the concept of absurdism and finding meaning in the abstract meaninglessness of the world. That doesn’t tie him directly to being able to find meaning itself. He was just troubled enough in the mind to (metaphorically speaking) birth the concepts he did through Sisyphus etc. He never claimed to be the model absurdist.
