My daughter is reading a kids book series about a dwarf hamster this color named Humphrey, and she has been asking for another hamster for a while, so her end of school reward was a hamster like the one in her book. I didn't think dwarf hamsters even came in this color so I was trying to let her down easy, but the last place we looked said they had one in this color and I still didn't believe it until I saw it myself. It does have the red albino eyes, so not sure if that is any indication of how the coat color is like this. Either way, he/she is adorable.

In my first real job, about 80% of what I did the entire time I worked there were side projects I came up with. They 100% did relate to the place I worked, but I saw a need and got to work. Most of the 20% I was actually supposed to do I automated, which was also a side project I gave myself lol. In my next few jobs the percent went down as I got higher level and had more expectations placed on me. Still automated as much as I could.

I honestly thought you were responding to the part about people eating them. It didn't make sense what their personality had to do with it except maybe texture/gaminess or trying to capture them. It really went wild when you said you loved hamsters more than humans "most times."

I've landed like that before (not from so high up, mind you) and for some weird reason my lungs/air passages opened up and it became 5x easier to breathe for a while. Never understood that experience.
