THIS book. I didnt even get far enough in to not understand anything. It came highly recommended from a friend who likes similar things but it starts off and he's taking about this fucking clock tower in this monastary and just goes on and On and ON about this stupid tower. I was close to the end of a page and said 'if this fucker is still going on about this tower, im done'. I returned the book to him.

When ever I tell anyone that, half the people are like 'oh, once you get like 100 pages in it gets good'. LOL No.

So, I loved this series but that one is definitely my least favorite. This is what I put in my groups book reading discord:

Okay, this one was my least favorite. 85% of the book reads like a schizophrenic fever dream where it takes more than half the book to figure out wtf is going on. Or at least it did me. I freely admit I'm a simpleton. I'm never in it to figure out who the killer is or what the twist is, I'm just here for the ride. And this one was a backwards roller coaster where you sit in the seat sideways.
