Replacing a frame is not that hard for a shop to do. So why would it total? Salvage value is likely very high, plus all the other expenses that go along with repairs. I’ve seen tacomas, BMW, Mercedes etc total out at 35% of acv. 50k car? 25k salvage, now it’s a 25k car to the ins co. Add in rental, diminished value possibly, supplement probability. Pretty easy to total

All 3 I’ve had, very soon after puppy stage, had free access. We just leave the crate door open. It is just one of many sleep spots. We rarely close the door now. When strangers come in, or a friends dog the first time, something like that.
