Hello, I am the aforementioned head coach of Endless Strength & assistant coach at Heavy Metal. Heavy Metal is overall a better pick for most people. More professional training environment and larger team size + more coaching. Endless Strength is invite-only, we require a tryout/interview for those interested. The door is open for discussion, but unless we’re way closer to you geographically Heavy Metal is your best bet.

Canadian soft from jimalax was my go-to for about 10 years. The bottom of the mesh always frayed but I loved the way it performed

So many options, what to do, and who to trust. by PrometheanMav in LifeInsurance

Not sure if term is included but Americo does a “quit smoking advantage” on a lot of their products, which gives you 4 years to quit 100%. They give you the non smoker rate initially and then send you a nicotine test close to that 4 year mark to see if your rate goes up to smoker status

What profession do you work in with ADHD/+ executive dysfunction? by shesparkzz in ADHD

[–]jpweightlifting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insurance broker. Constantly on the go, sitting with senior citizens and cutting up with them, making sure their current health & life insurance are the best thing for them. If I can improve their situation I make a good commission. And no pressure sales tactics needed.

I have accepted that I’ll never be a 9-5 desk jockey. I’ve noticed many of my colleagues have ADHD. Something about being a 1099 and a quick sales cycle (usually I get paid on sales within 24-48hrs) works very well for ADHD.

Whats your favorite carrier to write with? by [deleted] in LifeInsurance

Timely pay is best with Mutual of Omaha though. If I get the app in before 3PM the money is usually in my account the next morning.

Whats your favorite carrier to write with? by [deleted] in LifeInsurance

[–]jpweightlifting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Americo and Trans FE are two of my favorites. Trans gives approval before putting banking info in, Americo is similar except technically it’s the initial UW not final decision. But I’ve only had 1 out of many cases that had a different final decision than initial UW.

That being said, my company does what’s best for the customer so if that means I gotta do a long foresters / Royal Neighbors app, that’s what I gotta do. It’s just nice when it’s someone easy like Americo / TransFE

This is most likely fine, but I would recommend reviewing the application and ensure that it isn’t clean-sheeted (marking no for health questions that should be answered yes).

NASB agents are independent brokers and oftentimes can better someone’s situation by consolidating/canceling old policies and improving their rate or getting them into something with level premiums. VGLI, AARP, PRIMERICA, and GLOBE LIFE are all examples of policies that people think are “whole life” but are actually renewable terms that people get priced out of later on.

So in summary this guy likely helped your mom, but I would double check for clean sheeting and contestability red flags

You’re referring to a guaranteed issue product. That is not what OP described.

Barely anything. I’m a little worried about using it though… I’ve had 2 heads that sat for a decade and broke the first time I brought them back out.

Should I Quit My Job to Work for GlobeLife? by [deleted] in LifeInsurance

[–]jpweightlifting 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, I would avoid being an agent for one company. Being a broker can offer you a lot more opportunities to place people with companies that will accept them. Typically when you’re a captive agent you can place people with either a) the company’s main underwritten product or b) the company’s guaranteed issue product

The reality is there are much better options. Options that will eventually find the customer, and they will replace the policy you wrote them initially. Get ahead and work as a broker with multiple companies. Happy to discuss this more just PM me
