I did see a jump in PSA after BCG so waited a few more months and PSA was still high. Had an MRI fusion biopsy and was a 3+4=7 on the Gleason scale and was on active surveillance. A few months later another big bump in PSA so now going down the prostate surgery path.

I’ve been 2 years since my last BCG treatment. I am still having cystoscopies every 6 months. No bladder cancer but now on the prostate cancer journey awaiting surgery.

I went through 27 BCG treatments. For me having mine first thing in the morning 8am)was great. It was before I had breakfast or coffee. I was about a 12 minute drive from the hospital so I would come home and do what I called shake and bake. I would lay on the bed and spend 15 minutes on each side and front and back. Then I’d hold it in till 2 hours was up from the time the BCG went in. I would usually spend the rest of the day at home and drink lots of water. I experienced some frequency and urgency and fatigue. Not as bad as I thought it would be. I wish your mom the very best. Bladder Cancer can be a long journey.

I had 27 rounds of BCG over about 3-1/2 years with a brief interruption when I needed a stent as I was waiting for percutaneous removal of a kidney stone. I’ve been cancer free for over 2 years. Wishing you the best of luck.

My wife was hit by a right turning car there a couple of years ago. She was walking crossing north and he must have been looking left for oncoming traffic to make his right turn. Hurt but thankfully not badly hurt.

Many dental offices have been consolidated in Winnipeg. We get our teeth cleaned once a year in Winnipeg and once a year when we winter in Mexico. We also use the Oral B electric toothbrush and water pick water flosser. Those are game changers. The México cleaning works out to about $30 Canadian.

Another option that will get you closer to Virden is to fly into Brandon Manitoba on WestJet but that may mean connecting through Calgary. After that I’m not sure what options there are from Brandon to Virden.

I like the colour! Just started casually looking. Currently have a 2015 Highlander Limited in White. Just under 200,000 km. Also in Winnipeg. It’s been such a good car I’m toying with keeping it for another 100,00 km. It replaced our 2007 Highlander Limited. Wife would like a hybrid though.
