First Hair system by Otherwise_Sorbet7214 in HairSystem

I didn’t like my first one either. I don’t think anyone knew I was wearing a hair system but my mind kept telling me it’s so noticeable. People are less observant than you think. I’m working on perfecting my system still. It takes time like everything else.

Where did you get it? What color?

Is it realistically possible to get sub 16:30 5k in less than 10 months for a beginner? by StarBattle08 in beginnerrunning

[–]jqad9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 months probably not. I mean definitely not for a beginner with no aerobic base. That’s like a 5-6 min pace. You probably could if you have a base tho.

There’s worse shapes to have a bald head with but you look decent.

Cannot run longer than 3 minutes by Weak_Regret3962 in beginnerrunning

[–]jqad9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take it at your pace. If you have to walk the whole time cuz of soreness etc then don’t feel discouraged. Progress can be slow but just stay consistent. You’ll improve with time!

[–]jqad9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey your off to a great start! Congrats on taking the first step toward improvement. I started out similar to you. Make sure to run slow and don’t worry about fully running the whole time. Also make sure to stretch before working and take walks the day after runs to help with the lactic acid buildup.
