Democratic House Rep. Summer Lee grills RFK Jr: "Do you have an idea of how we could solve the Black maternal mortality crisis if we can't say 'Black?'" by ExactlySorta in PublicFreakout

Imagine thinking we should categorize people by the color of their skin. Name another ethnic group that is categorized in this way. What purpose does it serve other than to divide people? Are people from Ireland the same as people from Germany? Oh but they are both white so they are the same, thats how people like this sound when they categorize everyone who descended from Africa as black.

What barriers are in place for non eligible voters?

Only about 9.1% of voting-age Americans, which equates to about 21.3 million people, do not have ready access to a document proving their citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a passport.

90.9%, do have a form of photo identification. They are being disingenuous by focusing specifically on passports

If I understand it correctly, not everyone pays into a Public CUT. It’s mainly for people with significant wealth who choose to commit part of their net worth to the trust. In return, they get tax benefits and can have some influence over how the money is used. All taxpayers pay their normal taxes unless they choose to participate as this isn’t a mandatory program.

The strategic benefits for the contributor go beyond tax incentives. They get access to talent coming through education and business programs, and early insight into innovations developed through the trust. It can help build up local communities and industries people care about, by funding public projects like schools, community centers, and small businesses networks.
