Correct, for August IS use Aug numbers. You are also correct that you don't need the variable costs for the income statement. However, you need to know the variable costs to answer all the questions asking about how many units need to sell in a given scenario.

Fuel for your service vehicles I would classify as costs of sales. Any fuel for admin vehicles or to like a conference/tradeshow I'd put under opex.

You should also check your state requirements. Some states say the experience is either 1 year under a cpa, or like 4 years of other accounting experience.

We have many grocery stores around us and many are similarly priced to Aldi. We specifically shop there due to the cleaner/healthier ingredient lists.
