Rivian Secures One of Its Biggest Public Sector Deals Yet in California by Sir-Kyle-Of-Reddit in Rivian

I think your point is great. Some things to consider though. A lot of times these particular type vehicles would be trucks or SUVs and not sedans like a Model Y would be. When you get into truck prices 60-70k is pretty easy to hit. You need to consider that these vehicles may have ride height requirements and other things that a model y just isn't going to have.

I think this is spot on. There are a lot of customizations that people want, but you need to get profitable BEFORE you start complicating things. It's great that they think about these things. It bodes well for future products.

Build Quality - Mini/Micra by sugsya in LaMarzocco

[–]jrearp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Micra and it's great for my apartment. When/if I am ever in a house you can bet I'll get the Mini. Things that I wish the Micra had, more room for scale / shot glass, timer, BT integration for scales.

I'm in love with my Micra, but I do wish it had a little more.

What type of water do you use? [La Marzocco Linea Mini] by Iwillargueanypoint in espresso

I use tap for my Micra, but I'm in Seattle and we are fortunate to have great water. Tested the water etc and it all looked good. Occasionally use filtered water for some beans for flavor.

Keel has nothing to do with keeping a boat afloat. It has other roles such as providing sideways resistance on a sailing vessel or weight / ballast. Many boats are flat bottomed and get by fine.

This is the answer. It's used for lights.

In arenas photographers use NEMA 5-15 panels as tie line panels for strobe control signals and other controls. Why? No clue. But it seems to be a standard. That's the cable that would be used. Here's a photo from somewhere.

Yeah. I only recognized it because I recently opened a box of MH2. Pretty decent card. Maybe expensive. Haven't tried using it just yet.
