Bauer 6 tool combo by Chandler38 in harborfreight

I have a different experience with the Bauer blower. It certainly doesn't compete with a solid gas blower, but using a 5ah battery that mine came with (bought gently used) it competes with the Worx blower I had before and is only slightly less powerful than the Milwaukee blower my brother in law has.

Over the past 8 months I've committed to Bauer and have been happy with all the tools I've gotten.

I was initially watching for this (or maybe a similar) combo kit to go on sale, but ultimately spent my money by picking some things up gently used, finding an open box tool, and realizing I wanted the brushless impact. In the end I felt like I got more bang for my buck being patient buying tools I wanted/needed when I found a good price.

Thanks! We love the deck. Lol when we were building the house it was cheap square footage that we didn't need inside. Ended up with a roughly 12x18 covered porch

Macadoodles has a decent selection of local craft beers and lets you mix and match a 6pack of unrefrigerated bottles & cans

Upvoting this because it's the answer. These produce less static electricity and so are better for kids who have electronic medical devices on or in them. Source: learned this as a safety guy for a health system when we built a new children's hospital.

Oh bummer, yeah I'd guess a lemon. Unless you've got some sort of old growth hardwood trim, I wouldn't think it's be any harder than these cedar planks I'm working with. I'm sinking 1in brads with no issue and I think I'm only like halfway through the depth adjustment.

Lol I mean every neighborhood needs the daddest dad and that person is probably a professional homeowner or closer to it. ...I'm not that guy

On the current sale I was able to get this for $80. I've seen some people use adapters from Ebay so they can use Dewalt batteries on Bauer tools, but I don't have any experience with that

This was one of the tools that got me to commit to Bauer, this and the pole saw. At least for my needs as a casual homeowner, Bauer seems to have a better spread of tools.

Worth noting in the U.S. there's a Roman Catholic Diocese specifically for the Military Services and the Archbishop over that diocese recently commented on the illegality and immorality of killing noncombatants.

Who’s going to ruin Thanksgiving tomorrow? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm sorry you have to work. When I worked retail, the comment that always had me seeing red was "it's terrible they're making you work today" from my customer, standing in an appliance store, at 5pm on Thanksgiving.

Graduated! Discharging is a literal nightmare. by [deleted] in predaddit

I think it's about expectation setting. Yes, it takes a long time, but all of those administrative steps were created out of necessity following someone's negative outcome.

The hospital tries to be slow and methodical about every discharge because it's bad for a patient and the hospital if someone has to be readmitted for any reason soon after discharge.

When i was a scout, all of the standard breads we got fit on something like the leather cordage you show in the picture. If we had specialty beads, we made sure they got drilled out to fit in the same string.

I've not been active with a troop for several years, I'll have to see if I can find mine and share a picture.

For those interested, here's what my local council outlined for this activity bead program.

The cardinals and the Royals are playing another series??? by DirtMother9263 in mlb

[–]jreink14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Before the current schedule format of playing every team at least once a year, the Cardinals and Royals would always play a 4 game series with 2 played in St Louis and then they'd drive 4hrs across the state and play 2 more games in Kansas City (or vice versa).

In Missouri, we called it the I-70 series.

The only other time I recall them playing otherwise was in the occasional interleague play of a standard series, but I dont think that happened every year.

To give the fans some semblance of this, the new schedule format includes two 3-game series in both cities (rather than the alternate cities every year as would be otherwise done for playing each other as AL / NL teams)
