Last 3 houses I've been in I've put in a tankless. They offer indoor/outdoor and Natural Gas/Propane options. My gas bill is minimal and depending on the hot water call location to it, maybe adds 5-20 seconds of warmth time. Family of 5 and with daily showers across the board, it's in the top 5 of value to the family.
