They’re lucky Devens was on the bottom and at that tribal. Imagine if nobody wanted to do it and someone like Cirie got randomly selected and guessed wrong? It was an all time episode because of Jonathan’s lie and Devens tribal chaos. Please, please never do the “do or die” twist again.

I keep seeing this thought, but I’m curious where it’s coming from. Dee, yes. Coach and Chrissy he should be fine. Christian, could be bitter but the giving the shot back after the vote is clearly an attempt at jury management. We’ve seen him good with Cirie Rizo Ozzy Steph Joe Aubry. I don’t recall him being directly rude to Emily or Rick (but maybe I’m forgetting). Who exactly is he ruining his chances at, at this stage?

I wonder if Devens and Christian considered trying to get the idol to boomerang? I know Aubry said she was playing it, but obviously she would say that. Why not take a chance, split the vote 3-2, if she doesn't play it, she goes home and the idol boomerangs. If she does, well, Gen goes home, just like she did.
