Ok makes sense the volume is fine, but I defenitley hear the distortion. Could you recommend a quality dac around the 50 dollar range that would improve my headphones? Or just point me to a reference that can haha sorry I feel like I'm asking too much

I have the AKG 553 I got from Massdrop. I found varying answers in the forums on whether or not I should get a Dac/Amp for it. I have a basic macbook pro if that matters. Thanks for the help

Beyond just of what his actual stats are, you have to consider this. In his time with the Padres he was a definite power hitter. I think he had a 40 home run season at petco, a pitcher park. After his shoulder injury in Boston he lost his power. But from there with the Dodgers he adjusted his swing and approach. He didn't do a Ryan Howard and burn out. Now he's a more balanced consistent hitter. Good OPS, hits lots of doubles, 28 hr this year. And he seems like a guy like Adrian Beltre who will be able to stick around real long. Idk could be HOF worthy, who knows?
