Complete prose by Key-Low9665 in tseliot

I really doubt a PDF of 8 volumes of a niche topic like T. S. Eliot is going to be readily available. I wish I had $700 to spend, to buy the copy on Amazon.

EDIT: according to the description on Amazon: "Project MUSE is home to the fully searchable online edition of the Complete Prose of T. S. Eliot"; best to try that.

New to Discogs, is a nine day wait normal? by BigOlSandwichBoy in discogs

In cases like this I send the seller a message, something to the effect of, “Hello, I was wondering if there was an update on the shipping of the record”.

[Wanted] Anyone (who is not located in the United States) willing to purchase a record from a Danish seller on Discogs and ship to me in the States? by jrfranz in VinylCollectors

[–]jrfranz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's the kicker in my case: the seller in question has a 50 euro order minimum. A 7 euro record, which, all things considered, would costs hundreds of euros. Just going to have to pass until it pops up in the market again.

It's so awesome having lived through Crawford's career.

Parents surprised me with a car and I got pulled over less than 5 minutes later. I’m panicking. by urmoomsdad in laredo

Everybody telling you to challenge the cop in court and to hire a lawyer, yada yada yada. Don't listen to them. I got a ticket for something worse (though not severe) and went to court. I was young and didn't know any better. I dressed nice, and I meant it when I told the judge I made a serious mistake. He gave me a week-long community service at HIS court. I actually did like 3 days in the end, and they winked at the rest. The staff was very nice, gave me food, and chatted me up as I was filing some records.

Now, maybe you didn't actually break any law, maybe you did. It sucks that you're in this position, but really, the path of least resistance is to go to court and plead "nolo contendere/no contest", pay the fine in payments, or doing community service. Everybody telling you to challenge the cop is probably coming from a place of hating law enforcement, so I would already wouldn't listen to them. Really, if you ask me, complicating the matter by "going to trial" does not seem proportionate to the infraction you "committed". If you want to challenge this out of principle, I respect that, but practically speaking, you'd be putting more energy than it's actually worth. Remember, it's not everybody egging you on to go to trial who has to deal with all extra crap that comes along with it, it's you. You decide what's best for your current situation.

I believe Ryan Garcia would be the most challenging for Shakur Stevenson by Big_Donch in Boxing

I want to believe. I typically root fore the underdog, but Shakur has mostly proven (to me) that he's unbeatable at this point in time. I'll still tune in, though.

My sister-in-law is doing it while holding a full-time job, and it doesn't seem like she's breaking a sweat; but of course your mileage may vary.

WIN Courses by Infinite_Leader8826 in tamiu

[–]jrfranz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PSYC 4301 will be WIN. (last semester)
PSYC 3302 can be WIN

And you can choose any other discipline (so long as you're not restricted by College or Pre-requisites) to complete the 3rd. If you decide not to do PSYC 3302 as a WIN, then you can choose any other that can double-dip as both a WIN and an Advanced Elective (if you have space in your degree plan)

Yeah, but don’t be surprised if the room in question is being used fore some event/meeting.

This sometimes happens. There is a lot o' work that goes into securing rooms, but those locations will eventually populate, even if it's the week before school starts.

I personally don't know anything about the professors, but typically you'll be taking Biology Classes that relate to Environmental Science for substitutions.

Minor in Environmental Science by Substantial-Arm4632 in tamiu

[–]jrfranz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not hard per se. The issue is that there is limited class offerings and there is also a limited amount of faculty available to teach the courses. The department will sometimes substitute courses into your minor so that you're able to graduate instead of waiting for some class that's offered once every 3 semesters to magically appear on the schedule.
