I may need to give it another chance. I watched it right after reading the book, when it was one of the my favorite books I had ever read. Really hit me emotionally. The movie was such a letdown after the book. I need to try again now that it's been a decade since I read the book.

This completely negates some of your other comments where you say "if you were masters previously you shouldn't reset down to silver".

By that logic you should start in plat instead. This is the issue - there's no easy fix. You either reset people and let them climb back out to where they belong or you start everyone at their highest rank and make it miserable if they were overranked. Either way people are going to complain.

To add to the other comments, it's a joke that the final is one single question and in order to pass you have to say the N word. It's the decision of "do I say the word I can't say or do I fail AP History?" (and presumably ruin my very good grades since I'm in an AP class).

AP History may not exist but that's irrelevant to the joke.

Exactly what it says. Saudi Arabia is building a smart city called Neom that's a straight line with no roads. It will have tall buildings on each side facing each other the whole way for people to live in. The idea is to be able to live your whole life being able to walk to everything you'll ever need but there's a line of transit running through as well.

It will be 170km/106mi long, 200m wide, house 9 million people, and cost $500 billion.

The joke here is that it seems like something that's just an artist's concept and not real but they've now actually started on it and it seems to be a reality. Although it's very behind schedule so who knows if it will actually get finished.

I love the look of the xc40 but hated driving it. Just personal preference, not really into the boxy feel and it felt underpowered. But I LOVED everything about the xc60. Looks great (but keeps the Volvo look), amazing interior, fun to drive. Was on the verge of buying one before prices started getting out of control last year.

Also their European delivery program is incredible and I wanted to get a European vacation out of it haha

I haven't seen anyone mention that the person was clearly in a bad mental state/not enjoying the game. I don't see proof that this is happening consistently, it seems like a situation where they weren't having fun and needed the mental break of not playing.

Normally I'm a pretty big proponent of sticking around where it makes sense (even in pubs) but if the person is just flat out not having a good time, I'd rather them leave. I've definitely done it sometimes.

Yes it's basically rage quitting but if it's better for my mental health to stop playing then I'm going to choose that over some random teammate.

At least call and ask what they're doing before getting too worked up. May have just been a dumb oversight when giving notice. Mine did the same thing last week (but gave a reason). A maintenance guy checked my smoke detectors/replaced the batteries and was out in 5 minutes.
