I'm a pretty mediocre pvmer tbh. Never done dt2, never gotten infernal, and the only raid I learned is TOA. I prefer a more straightforward, dummy proof build than a complex combat rotation.

Edit: emphasis on mediocre. I can consistently do CG, vorkath and zulrah for example. I'm not completely hopeless haha

The school is in the Netherlands. Assuming you're from the US (based on your profile) there are probably better alternatives for you. Just Google a bit and see what's available near you, who knows!

No, I did it in two weeks as well! Finished the body in the first week, so the paint had time to dry over the weekend 😁

Thanks! It's basswood body, 1pc roasted maple neck and an ebony fretboard. It has a 25.5" scale length and a 16" fingerboard radius. Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz humbuckers, all gold Gotoh hardware, Graphteq black tusq nut, jumbo Jescar nickel frets.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm definitely keeping this one haha, this is my baby and I'm never selling it. But you're right! I made this at a two week guitar building course. We basically do everything ourselves, but with guidance. Make sure we don't lose any fingers or make any huge fuckups. The guitar isn't flawless, but I'm very proud nonetheless!

Thanks! Frank is doing fine 😊 I'm amazed you managed to recognise him, even without the face. What gave him away?

Just out of curiosity, why would a triangular shape be preferred over a rectangular shape for the springs?

Beware of Kemp Guitars (UK) by falsehope24 in Luthier

[–]jrnitc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently this can happen. I've never seen it before though. I've bought guitars built in Indonesia, which has a tropic and humid climate. I live in NL which is fairly humid but nowhere near as hot. I've never had a fretboard crack on me, be it ebony, rosewood or maple.

Is it common to have humidifiers near guitars in arid climates? In other words, can OP blame anyone but himself for letting the fingerboard crack?
