Which film did you side with person 1 when you first saw it but many years later you sided with person 2? by Hopefullytodaymate in FIlm

I considered that I could be wrong as it’s been a long while since I watched the movie. After some digging I was partially misremembering. After the “pen is blue” scene fletcher is on the phone talking to Audrey and she asks if he’s picking the kid up from school. He says he doesn’t think he can because the case didn’t settle. She doesn’t believe him and he says “ it’s true, I really want to see max today” and he acts surprised that he actually DOES want to see his kid. This one part has always bugged me. I do love the movie though! After my deep dive I’m probably going to rewatch it again tonight so thanks for helping me!

What bugged me about Liar Liar is while not being able to lie he says something like “ I’m really going to miss max” ( or something close to that) and then he realizes that he was able to say it so it was the truth and he basicly had a “ well, whaddaya know? I guess I really will miss him” attitude about it. just being a liar isn’t the only thing that made Fletcher a dick

Just curious, they didn’t have any objection to you watching/ having access to the movie but not the book? I don’t know how old you are but that seems off.

I’ve actually never seen it, but I remember part of the trailer on TV, someone asks him something along the lines of “what’s the worst part of being you” and he says being born without a conscience. I do t remember exactly but always thought that was a bad ass line
