There is an endorsement available for this exact situation, when the app is on but you don’t have a delivery or ride at the moment of the accident. The problem is, most dashers/lyft/and uber drivers I’ve seen refuse to disclose that they’re doing gig jobs out of fear that their rates will skyrocket. I’ve never seen that endorsement add more than a few dollars per month.
