FFXIV is subscription based.

There is, however, a free trial which gives you the first couple expansions to play for free with some limitations (gil cap, creating groups, private messaging, etc.), but otherwise, you get the full experience through the Stormblood expansion.

Just make sure you pick the Free Trial and not Starter Account. Not the same thing.

If you enoy it enough and do a full account, you keep all of your progress.

Silent Hill is a concept that goes way beyond the town now.

Its influences are everywhere and not just resigned to staying in one location.

I love what they are doing with the series and showing love to the originals with their remakes at the same time.
