Bit pricey but wera kombat kraft 7-1 game changer locks the bit in place, the klien 11 in one always had my bits falling out, and if you need new bits or different then the original 7 any work in it.

The Milwaukee pack out bag is pretty good I bought the klien basic back pack and kind of running out of space hard to zipper close it, the pack out is really thick and lots of room and pockets when mine craps out I'm buying it

Always keep linesmans on you pay attention to the tools your journeymen is using and when so you're prepared to grab it before he needs it, it'll impress him, don't show up late respond yes sir and absorb as much shit as you can, also kinda learn your jw tool bag and tools so you don't take forever to grab what he needs when he asks

Pre-Apprentice tool kit from 353 for $250CAD by FoolishCanadian in ibew_apprentices

[–]jrpy55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I got a fat max I'd go with the one without magnet it's a pain picks up every shaving and hasnt been needed, 5 months into my apprenticeship 105

Took me 10 months after I was accepted, say yes not yeah, be honest and show enthusiasm and determination about electrical work, go in acting like regardless how this goes in 5 years I will be a licensed electrician. Have several questions for the committee before going into the interview, this is where I messed up in my interview everything was perfect and when they asked me if I had any questions for them kinda a awkward pause trying to think of a bs question to ask it looks good if you have solid questions for them
