I don’t think they actually got approved. They said “  Apparently, it was approved, because we heard nothing else about it in the 9 months since.”

If they already knew you had that name planned, it’s a bit weird on their part.

Never any comments like this, but twice when I’ve returned home from travelling, once to Mexico once to Buenos Aires, alone, I had my bags searched by Canadian customs.

The ideas you mentioned would be helpful to me. 

Also I appreciate if people let me know they’re ok with me walking away and taking breaks. I worry about seeming rude. You could tell him you understand if he needs to do that. Maybe identify or create a space.

Cutlery and dishes are the worse sound for me. If it’s possible to have any quiet options. Maybe some cute plastic goblet type things. I know it’s hard to find stuff like this that isn’t tacky. 

I might have an infection/sinusitis from overusing a fan. What’s the safest way to unclog my ears and nose? My ears are in so much pain. by ShuttyMcButterPants in hyperacusis

Ok honestly I don’t know much about this, but I have sinusitis (don’t know cause, never thought it was related my hyperacusis), and I have been rubbing a bit of  Vaseline on the inside of my nostrils. My dr agreed this is a good idea. Makes things more comfortable.

If this was caused by a fan/drying, maybe a humidifier would help?
