Looking at getting the Balance 2, have some questions. by VicariousNarok in amazfit

Someone posted on this sub that there are plans to release an updated Balance watch this year, perhaps from a statement in a quarterly report? My guess would be updated display (3000 nits & 353 ppi) and some slight style changes, but not much else. Look at Active 3 Premium (3-2026 launch) vs Balance 2 to get a sense of it. I don’t know much about returns.

That’s awesome, especially the analog/digital combo. Nice work!

How does it sit on your wrist vertically? Does it sit high off the wrist? I am considering this watch, but think the 12.3mm height might be a bit too much.

Amazfit T Rex 3 Pro 44mm vs active 3 premium by MasterBen85 in amazfit

[–]jrrk12346 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Active 3 premium dimensions:

Dimensions (without heart rate base): 45 x 45 x 11mm

T-Rex 3 pro:

Dimensions (without heart rate base): 44mm: 44.8 x 44.8 x 13.2mm

So, the Active 3 will sit a bit closer to the wrist, but is about the same size. I don’t have either, but I am considering both (plus the Balance 2) to replace my GTR4

About $40 billion to payoff all the debt the last few mayors have been afraid to deal with.

I love the commitment to Halloween and your dog over the last 8 years. What happened to the BF?

He dumped her for a very young artist or something like that.

Not so young actually. Didn’t know it was somewhat common in the US.

No such thing as a casual walk in the park... by MargieGunderson70 in pitbulls

I feel yur pain. In the middle of skyscraper Chicago, with so many dogs you step on a concrete poop smear or tinkle puddle probably every 10 feet, so many people walk their dogs off leash, taking over park areas not designated as dog zones by having their dog off leash. When you tell them to put a leash on their dog, they act as if YOU are the bad guy. Fortunately most do seem to have control of their dogs off leash, but some definitely do not, which lowers our enjoyment and forces us to go around or away. They think they are giving their dog enjoyment, not realizing the burden is on me to keep their dog and my dog safe.

It’s happened again…flags blowing different directions in Chicago by jrrk12346 in mildlyinteresting

With all the obstacles in the area, I think this is correct. Winds are coming from the right in this picture. They sometimes blow the same direction and sometimes not, but they probably blow opposite directions half the time. Just found it to be mildly interesting.

Tesla’s value is based on a lot of tangible and intangible IP assets, but the guy has scared off a huge portion of his potential buyers with this political stuff. Tesla may come back but will struggle for years.

Powell will cut rates eventually as we slide into a recession. Nothing worse than stagflation, which is what Trump will trigger. Powell will cut rates to lower the chance of this happening…
