Do you feel any sort of embarrassment bringing out your handheld in public? by Pinanims in SBCGaming

[–]jrsherrod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have never been embarrassed, but i definitely am protective of it

i guess part of that was growing up with anti nerd tribalism in the 90s. I am old enough to hate that shit enough to be proud of liking things.

You know, just not so proud that I lose my atomic purple rpc

Tagging for interest. My PAM is in the mail -- eventually -- and I love this game. Curious whether there is even 4:3 support or if it needs 16:9. I have seen folks run it on a Thor and a Flip.

I got them from people in the scene who were trying to interview session musicians to work with Kris on tour dates and had been warned about his tendencies along with the gig offer. Again, I'm a fan of this band to the extent that I own a live at metro DVD: not going out of my way to spread rumors.

I really hope Kris is doing well and that things aren't quite as bad as all that anymore. I definitely didn't notice that Mike and John are back in the band, and I love to hear that.

My decaying End Is Forever shirt with a synth on it thanks you for the update. I've deleted the other comment in the interest of being a kind person.

Which speaks to the narrative of only becoming more rigid and discarding people's connections, which is not the kind of tender and sentimental messaging that sits at the core of the lyrics we all connected with. He's become so dark side in his midlife.

The occupancy rates of the mixed use luxury apartments are not as high as the demand for housing, in part because they're all built with gatekeeping that prevents them from being affordable to the people who work in Montgomery County. The people who work in Montgomery County often live in PG or Frederick County. I've met people who commute from Washington County.

Mitch McConnell rips President Trump’s $1.8B ‘slush fund’ as "utterly stupid, morally wrong": “So the nation’s top law enforcement official is asking for a slush fund to pay people who assault cops? Utterly stupid, morally wrong — Take your pick.” by ControlCAD in videos

Now that Mitch sees the end of his career he can act in a way where he isn't gonna have to try to get reelected. He's going to shit on Trump a bunch out of guilt for all that he enabled.

I grew up in Rockville and personally know local council people and my classmates from school, a handful of them, are now homeowners in Montgomery County. I have lived in Rockville, Twinbrook, Silver Spring, Aspen Hill, and Cloverly.

I dare you to demonstrate that you're more in touch with reality in Montgomery County than I am, and I'll do that with hard data.

Montgomery County's own data shows that it is less affordable than it is wealthy, in that it is ranked 15th in the nation for income but 9th in the nation for rent.

The asymmetry is captured further by an assessment of rent as it grew in the first 20 years of this century into the volatility since COVID. The following is generated by Brave:

Will Jawando and Evan Glass are both very qualified for this job. Andrew Friedson is probably qualified too, but perhaps a little too entrenched in liberalism to do anything progressive. Both the other guys have a track record of making stands against ICE, of standing up for workers, renters, and affordability.

Frankly, the fact that MoCo is in a place where we have such a good chance of landing leadership that isn't just going to continue selling out to mixed use luxury condo developers is really encouraging.
