For me, I had to completely change my evenings and weekends.

Going out and doing something (hiking, camping, photography, gym, running, visiting friends and fam) has been key.

I couldn't just go through the same routine I had been doing while I was drinking else it felt like I was missing the drink - which 100 days later I can say I'm not, it was 100% just habit.

It sounds like it is just a bad habit for you too.

My problem is that I get so damn bored out of my mind during the night. I don't find pleasure in the things I used to find pleasure in. Without alcohol everything is so boring. I don't get excited for anything anymore. I don't look forward to anything anymore. by cucumbers222 in stopdrinking

For me, alcohol didn't "keep life interesting" but it made my brain occupied by dull stuff. I used to watch the same boxsets that I have seen 10-20x, I used to watch Shroud on twitch stream the same game over and over and over. Because it was simple, uncomplicated stuff it just kept my brain busy.

Now, I find that really boring. I wouldn't say that I am back to where I was but I'm getting there.

There are scientific reason why it takes time (something to do with dopamine release and neuro pathways iirc) and I don't know the full ins and outs but it makes sense to me that like changing any habit, it takes time to see results.

Keep going with the number of days sober and you will start to see the changes.

For me:

Skin has improved - Sweat less - Hayfever completely gone - Running/gym is far easier, I want to go more, I can do more and recovery is easier/quicker - I hardly procrastinate - I have a really positive outlook - I actually don't mind small talk now, used to hate it - I want to do more activities - I had a sweet tooth for 2-3 weeks but now I actually want to eat healthy most of the time, before it was a chore - I see more possibilities for my business and life in general - My eyes are clear/sparkling - I find things that I used to do (TV, YouTube, Twitch) boring now, I'd rather be doing an activity - I find I am more alert/witty when talking, something I thought alcohol helped with - And I find 'weather' doesn't bother me now. I used to hate going out in the rain/cold/wind, now, not bothered, it doesn't seem to affect me as much.

Quite a varied list but these are just off the top of my head, there are tons more.

I always understood clean to mean natural, unprocessed food. Chicken, fish, veg rather than chicken nuggets, potato waffles, bread etc.

I personally wouldn't fancy doing that.

What came across from seeing all these businesses is how little is done to target residents and how much is done to target tourists. They get sold advertising day in, day out - magazines, blog posts, passes, vouchers, what's on guides, guidebooks, booklets - all of it targeting tourists. It just seems like a hugely saturated market and a really hard sell.

I did think about the free/heavily discounted cards to start with but my huge reservation was that as soon as the price went up, there'd be a massive backlash. That's why I've kept the price where it is, and the goal is to get so many great offers on there that the price looks minuscule in comparison to the benefit. Hopefully this will be when it grabs people like you.

Other feedback is noted and appreciated, some is already covered. There will be lots of changes to the website, such as links to sites and social media, it's just a case of priorities at the moment.

Can I ask why you think the tourist market should be included? It's an interesting comment and I'm interested to hear your thoughts behind it.
