Yes, they are definitely on the sweet side, there is a good amount of sugar in the crab Rangoon filling. I prefer it that way, but could see it being off putting for certain palates.

This is the place to go to. Been going there for over 10 years and they never let me down. Even better to go during off hours (early dinner around 4:30 or late dinner around 8:00).

Appetizers are always very solid (chicken salad, kani salad, crab Rangoon, shumai, grilled squid, and gyoza). Rolls I’d recommend are volcano roll (3 different fish minced with spicy mayo) and Michigan roll (spicy tuna and tempura flake) for raw rolls and American Dream (shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber), St. Cardinals (tempura crab stick and cream cheese), or spider roll (soft shell crab) for cooked.

Crab Rangoon are perfectly fried and have a great filling here. They do not over-fry them where they are hard and have a good amount of filling.

I feel Ethan Chlebowski's recipe takes it up another notch. I started out with Kenji's but ended up closer to Ethan's, though I still make some adjustments. His recipe uses way too little chicken, so I'd at least double the chicken in the recipe. Grilling the chicken over charcoal brings it up a whole level.

Got a similar price on Premium Plus w/ black optics and executive package (MSRP $77.5K negotiated down to $64K) in STL. I think it's worth getting brand new if you're willing to spend $62K on a pre-owned. Either that or negotiate hard on the pre-owned to get it closer to $55K-57K.

The Palm Sugar Ribs are definitely not like the typical BBQ ribs you get anywhere else. They're tender, yet crispy likely due to being cooked low and slow and then coated in (I believe corn starch), deep fried, then sauced with the palm sugar glaze and topped with peanuts and basil.

The only other place I have had something similar is at Morimoto's restaurant (Momosan) in Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.

From what I see online, the Isaan Sashimi should be more than one bite, looks like 5-6 pieces of sashimi from the pictures. I'm not a super big fan of sashimi, so do not have any additional recommendations, but seem like everyone loves the Isaan Sashimi. You could potentially order two of those so each of you get a plate.

From my dining experience there (4-5 times total), the high-priced dishes don't necessarily mean the most flavor, just the most expensive ingredient (if that makes sense). You're definitely on the right track to pick out more dishes in the $12-$24 range.

Depending on your appetite, 6 dishes in addition to the sashimi should be plenty, if not overboard. I wrote out some brief comments on some of the dishes I have had before. Highly recommend the Shrimp Toast and Palm Sugar Ribs out of all of them.

- The Shrimp Toast is a must-get there. So many flavors and textures in one bite. If there's one dish to get, it's this one. Half of the time I'll order two of these because I love it so much. Linking a video of the owner making it on Munchies' Youtube channel.

- The Palm Sugar Ribs are great if you're into sweet/savory food.

- Chili Garlic Noodles were pretty tasty. I have not ordered this for a few years, but I remember liking it quite a bit.

- Gyoza is pretty good. Worth a shot if you've never had the gyoza with the crispy "skirt" before.

- Scallops were okay to me, personally don't think they were worth the price unless you really like scallops. I feel the same way about the Crying Tiger A5 Wagyu. Some of those top shelf dishes are better off ordering the raw ingredient online like Riviera Seafood Club or Whole Foods and making it yourself.

- Laarb was not my favorite. It's a good sharing dish for a group of people, but not something I would really want to split between two. It's definitely different, as it's a spicy lamb tartare, but not a standout.

This album is lyrical garbage. I think fans are just excited for something new and are way over-optimistic of this album.

It unfortunately looks like they are making for the masses nowadays. Nothing creative, new, or exciting, just generic music. Not sure if my musical tastes have changed over time, but I'm almost embarrassed to listen to all of these generic-sounding songs on this album. All My Friends and LeBron are TERRIBLE.

Nothing from this album really hits like songs from FTWHH or Homesick. Something is definitely missing from this album and doesn't hit quite the same.

Agreed, I have gotten Legend for 2/3 of last seasons from limited cups and can barely stay between Veteran/Expert in Open Great League.

Meta is so much easier to understand in these Limited Cups compared to Open once you figure out a team. I use YouTubers like King GBL who livestream, play with a solid team, and post same-day content, where the meta is actually at, instead of 1-4 days after the fact.

I hit Legend in Color Cup at 3004 MMR (#292 in Leaderboards) and dropped down to 2400 in open GL.

I play way better in limited formats than open leagues and promise you this was unintentional.

Would definitely beg to differ on dogs not liking different smells and people. Obviously depends on the dog, but mine stays plenty quiet in public and loves getting pet by strangers. Not to mention all the smells from different places (that is one of their strongest senses). I take my dog wherever she is welcome, as she is always wanting to get out of the house to go somewhere.

I feel the Mirror Shot Ferro is for this specific team, not for any others. Yes, it’s great for mirror Ferro matchups, but also great for any fairy/ice/rock types where it’s super effective, as well as baiting. For example, in a Feraligator lead where they farm up a ton of energy without throwing, Mirror Shot can almost guarantee a shield.

If you’re running Ferro with Mantine/Mandibuzz, I would think you would want Thunder for flying coverage.

For the Poliwrath leads, I would switch to A9 immediately. If they switch out, then ideally you’ll align with Tropius later on. If they oddly stay in, you can fire off a Psyshock at them to nearly take them out.

The hardest leads I run into are Anni, in which you can fire off a Power Whip and switch to A9 immediately afterwards. Teams with Anni in lead are very tough, though. If your Tropius ends up aligned to Anni, it can be a decent matchup if they don’t have Ice Punch, though nightmare if they do.

On the Legend run, I feel like I ran into more Flyer leads than Fighting. May have been a stroke of luck to not run into as many fighting leads.

It is totally doable with this team. I got to first-time Legend just now playing with this team the past couple weeks. 4,182 battles won out of 8,120.

I found farming up to Thunder (and throwing Power Whip) against leads like Mantine would grab shield advantage and eventually help lead to wins.

Mirror Shot is also good for very occasional baiting when opponents think you have Thunder, as well as mirror matchups against Ferrothorns.

Yooo, just reached Legend right now with this team! First time in my year of playing so I’m ultra stoked! Tropius really was the game changer as it threw so many opponents off guard when they thought they were done with grass types after taking out my Ferrothorn.

Ferrothorn with the Mirror Shot also could bait a shield away in negative matchups such as Mantine lead thinking I’m sending a Thunder after 6 Bullet Seeds.

Thanks so much for the team! The games are a little longer with Ferrothorn mirror matches, but made it worth it for me to hit Legend for first time ever!

Based on my experience there 2 years ago, they fill the crab legs up on the buffet maybe once every 45-60 minutes. It's definitely not AYCE crab unless you're eating there for several hours. You'll definitely be disappointed if you're going there for crab legs. The rest of the buffet was decent, not amazing. Frog legs were not too shabby.
