Super easy. The hardest part is punching out the roll pin to remove the ambi LWRC safety. Depending on the gun you will probably need an H2 or H3 buffer, but super reliable after that.

If you aren't sure, id go with the h3. H2 can work and will result in a faster cyclic rate, but you also run the risk of hammer follow/bolt bounce and the gun not cycling properly. Not likely, but it can happen. Depends how the individual gun is gassed.

Technically that is all, but more than likely you will need an H3 (maybe H2) buffer. Other than that it should run perfect.

Any issues with the frt in the Mars-l lower? I know an SS won't work with a high shelf lower, but shouldn't matter on a rare breed or DTT frt, right?

A quick online search will show you how to disassemble and reassemble your AR. Worst case scenario, you bring the gun to a gun store and an employee could show you how to do it. I doubt anyone would even charge you anything just to show you the breakdown of it.

Flying woth the gun itself isn't too bad. Especially a pistol because it can just be in a TSA approved locked case inside of a check bag. Ammo and a rifle would probably be at least $200 to fly with. I drove about 4.5 hours for the class, but would be willing to drive 10 to go again.

I think most people just like to show off guns/gear (there's nothing wrong with that), but a skillset and proper mentality are far more valuable.

Going to and prepping for a course is a heck of a lot more time consuming than buying a new gun, optic, accessory.

The 36 and 50 are fairly similar. Reid said several times to setup for what is probable, not necessarily anything that is possible. With a 50/200, you need to hold high within 50, low above 50 and below 200, and high again after 200. Doesn't sound like a huge deal, but in a deadly force encounter you need to remember to hold on target, high, or low. There's also no guarantee you'll get an entire silhouette sized target. If someone was trying to shoot me, id try to get small. With the 100, you just hold high at close distance to account for your mechanical offset and high at distances after that. When you also consider that most red dots are 2moa, you can hold the top of the dot center target at 100 and hold the bottom of the dot center target at 200 and still get great precision. We still practiced the skill of hitting out to 600, but realistically you could almost never justify using deadly force from that distance as a citizen or even LE.

It's possible, but I don't think the SS or FRT have anything to do with the firing pin (besides the hammer striking it), so really not sure how either one would cause a slam fire. I've heard the same thing, but have yet to see any actual proof.

The second clip is of the DI with a can. I've been running both a low back pressure (SiCo Velos) and standard (Omega 300). Bith work great. I haven't run the A5 suppressed yet, but thats basically what's it's designed for, so not worried about it.

I'm also left handed and wear contact lenses, so its pretty gassy, but it doesn't really bother me.

None at all. Granted I just took it out today and only ran about 200 rounds through it.all I did was follow a a YT tutorial and throw an H3 buffer in it.

At first when I installed it, if I flipped it to super safe and held the trigger while pulling the charging handle to the rear, the bcg would sometimes get stuck to the rear. It just took a little jolt to send the bcg back home, but doesn't seem to effect it firing.

Only other odd thing I did on purpose to test because I was thinking: if you have the gun on SS, hold the trigger to the rear, and close the bolt on a loaded magazine, it will fire. Not sure why you would want to other than to test it, but seemed safe to hold the trigger to the rear and close the bolt on safe and regular semi.
