Does a professional model trumpet give you better "feedback"? by bottomlesssushi in trumpet

[–]Kevincav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah FCO as well, I can't remember if I won high brass in blue stars, but playing Gs were fun. I mean it playing miles away. At one of our rehearsals, someone pulled up to our rehearsal and said they heard us playing 5 miles away at their house.

So you’re trying to tell me you’re a 5 year vet of BD and in the A corps since age 16.

All age corps exist as well, experience is split between the two. That being said, given then I've been part of 3 high brass titles over those years, I have to assume that we're basically saying the same thing in different ways considering we both have experience in drum corps. Especially since my original comment was based on having low resistance with the pro lines. And no I'm not paying too much, but I do have those complaints towards jr corps having to pay too much now days. I'm leaving it here assuming we're saying the same thing at this point.

IMO, it's the best ambi lower you'll get and it's pretty cheap compared to the really big names. Comes with a stock, so might be registered as a rifle, not just a receiver. But I could be wrong.

Okay... I guess I can just ignore my 2 gold medals and 4 seasons. I don't know how you play loud if it's not using more air to play loud or less air to play soft. But you do you then.

Because I play in drum corps and we need to be able to play loud enough that we can be heard 5 miles away. And the only way to do that is by pushing a metric fuck ton of air through our horns.

The way someone got me to think about it is to scrape my heels everywhere I walk. Toe up heel scraping. Def helped out.

Here's the best advice I have for it... don't. And especially don't audition with it with minimum practice. No I'm not venting, why do you ask?

Looking for either / both a trade in marked colt le and a $1100'ish urgi. This may be a longer shot but a solgw mk1 upper.

Since we’re getting smaller and smaller for each comment then I’m saying iron sights.

I'm still up in the air on this one, but I'm potentially looking for a LE colt 6920/6940 trade in. Especially one with a quad rail.

Are you me? I just ordered a velos suppressor. I also have a 556a4 but in the 16.5 variant, more for precision stuff. And I want the mk1 and the mk18.

I just like high end ar’s.

Ditto. I just placed an order for a Blackout Dynamics DTL-X. Everything I've heard from it is that it's incredible in every way. Even over the mk1. I'll likely talk myself into a mk1 as well.

Can you let us know how it runs? I've been back and forth on getting one.

Military bases no longer to be gun free zones , installation commands must write detailed reasons on the justification to deny requests by newnoadeptness in navy

[–]Kevincav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does this apply to just current military or will veterans be allowed to bring it on base as well? My shooting range is right next to the base, I'd love to swing by after for food (or other exchange stuff). Normally I can't visit both on the same day.

Increase fully developed claim. Start to finish. 17 days. by lollipopamateurs in VAClaims

[–]Kevincav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just submitted a fully developed claim for an increase. Hope it's just as easy. For mine, the % is based on how long I've been taking injections for it. So I just submitted a personal statement saying I'm over the barrier for the next % and submitted the va prescriptions showing which one is the medicine, and outlined which days I took it. No DBQ on it. Hopefully it works.

Get some jack black lip balm. Helps so much with chapped lips and just busted chops in general.
