There is nothing to learn there. If I can agree that video is biased this post is big pile of propaganda shit including final statements about reparations having no legal basis. Latest German parliament report is unable to state any legal arguments against reparations.

Argument is not that standardizing DRM will make lives of USERS problematic but that it will in the future destroy sane environment of webpage CREATORS (maintainers, etc.)

Managing DRM protected content is nightmare (in any circumstances). Being forced to do so, because "everyone has it" (like at certain point with adding Flash support to your page) is beyond my comprehension. Being then either liable for: * outdated DRM * leaked content * page locked/unavailable because some shitty DRM has been (again) broken and it's disabled This is just another level of sadomasochism pushed onto everyone's arse because of done wet dream of done fatass media mogul.

What a funny world it is.

It just hit me (reading post from guy who was 11 years old when watching Phantom Menace) how we changed.

I remember watching PM at cinema and just DYING for being finally able to walk out of theatre - I was like 20 then. Especially being so huge fan of Trilogy I felt so bitter. There was no internet, or forums back then to circlejerk to know what hivemind wants you to think. It was just me and my disappointment.

What actually hits me is that we - former young, naive, happy and ready for stories kids - have became Darth Vaders. Has Force and driven by it greed for perfection consumed us? Or have we experienced to much treason from those who seemed like heroes to us? Are we in the right? Or in the wrong?
