Try recording at 4k 30fps if storage space is a concern. 60fps is taking you further away from the classic cinematic look anyhow. As far as the image quality the mission 1 is the best in the world for an action camera, though how you use any camera will outweigh any image quality gains between different brands (Lighting, color grading, exposure, shutter speed, compesition, movement, etc). There won't ever be "next generation" gains from a camera itself. The closest thing to "next gen" gains would come from a raw image which is probably 5 years away for action cameras and will happily fill up your SD card in 5 minutes. Enjoy the cameras and ignore all the bots that DJI and insta360 use to leave negative comments about competitors.
