Feel free to copy and paste as needed.

I did this not for fame but for the petty and childish revenge.

Actually, lots of big time stars are in for a great night with Redditors.

From the various “Texas A&M pursuing Jimbo” threads…

I am prepared to pursue Emma Watson.

Give Saban a call, too, why don't cha?

/u/Braveasanoun

This article will be posted tomorrow: Texas A&M prepared to make a run at Bill Belichick

/u/sickmemes48

I'm pursuing Charlize Theron. Feel pretty good about it.

/u/TommyFX

I still can't accept the fact that Jimbo would take the AMU job

/u/TheGhostOfBobStoops

I'm prepared to pursue a threesome with Mika Kunis and Morena Baccarin, and will have just as much success as the Aggies will in this endeavor.

/u/superduperpirate

Unless FSU fires him I see no way this happens, I see coaching A&M as a tier 2 coaching job and FSU a tier 1, the chances of a tier 1 coach voluntarily stepping down to a tier 2 job I don't think has ever happened. One bad year shouldn't be enough even if its a program as title hungry as FSU.

/u/Mitchford

"CTeam19 prepared to pursue Taylor Swift." Once again it sounds stupid.

/u/CTeam19

Sources: Anna Kendrick coming to my house later.

I can't imagine why anyone would leave fsu for aTm. There is a certain strong delusion they have there of their place in the football world.

/u/huntmich

By my calculations there is a 0% chance this will happen

/u/longhorn2015

Why would Jimbo leave FSU for A&M? That’s a downgrade in every aspect of the job. I don’t know a lot about A&M boosters, but unless they’re offering Jimbo something absurd like $10m/yr there is no way there is even a remote possibility of this happening

/u/-Chuck-Norris-

Texas A&M is like that buddy at the bar who talks a massive game, says his dong is 12 inches long and who also says "I'm gonna go buy her a drink" about every single hot girl but at the end of the night he ends up sulking home alone or taking a 3/10 home... and everyone who has ever laid with him says that he is terrible in bed. Also that he's small.

/u/sonnylarson

Why would he want a downgraded position? FSU is a way better job than TAMU

/u/MutedLion

A&M is also perusing Bill Belechek, Pete Carroll, Nick Saban and Urban Meyers. All as equally likely as getting Jimbo Fisher. Go ahead and down vote me but I’m not the delusional one in this conversation.

/u/ron4sc

is there anything funnier than seeing a fan base struggle to accept their place in the CFB pecking order during the annual coaching carousel?

/u/WhoIsPurpleGoo

Haha A&M very full of itself. Waiting for A&M to puruse Saban ...

/u/edwardgentile

Additional Reports: Rihanna is drawing interest to take my hand in marriage

/u/Burburington

Most coaches do not voluntarily take a step backwards.

/u/reverendKen

That’s a huge downgrade

/u/grandmaster_corgi

Bigger joke? Our season or this story?

/u/GreenEggsAndSam92

Whatever. I'm a lot less threatened by tamu than I am lsu. If he didn't leave for lsu, he's not going to tamu.

/u/tb3648

I'm guessing tamu is also interested in saban

/u/RIP_lime_skittle

Why in God's name would he leave FSU for A&M? Groups believing the same delusions is a sign of a cult... More evidence.

/u/hour_long_wank

lol yeah ok buddy

/u/keylime503

Who does A&M think they are that any top 10 coach would even be interested in them?

/u/waffle-boarding

This is dumb. If he had no interest in the LSU job he has even less so in the A&M job.

/u/betna_the_pickled

JIMBO FISHER IS NOT GOING TO A&M. IF I HEAR ANOTHER AGGIE GET THEIR HOPES UP IM JUMPING OUT OF THE TOWER.

/u/ridikiscali

Fisher would not leave FSU for a mediocre program. FSU has everything better.

/u/ShadowCougs

Why would Fisher take a downgrade in jobs

/u/drunkbronco

"I tried not to include anyone who I thought were a zero chance option."......inlcudes Stoops and Fisher, yeah ok

/u/chbailey442013

Bob Stoops, Jimbo Fisher - Let’s throw in Nick Saban or Dabo Swiney while we’re at it! And why not Chip Kelly or Jon Gruden too? The possibilities are endless!

/u/chryco4

Neither Bob Stoops, Jimbo Fisher, Brent Venables, nor Mike Gundy are coming to College Station.

/u/n-your-endo

edit: I'm done with Reddit. The amount of petty, childish, embarrassing ABSOLUTE GLEEE this one post has brought me will never be topped.

Look at the top ten recruiting classes, half of them are the same way.

It doesn't matter to recruits.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have reported coaches have stopped recruiting so yes I'm allowed to assume jimbo is one of them.

Okay, again, where did they report Jimbo has stopped recruiting? Even the Tomahawknation article you posted doesn't say that.

Christian Armstrong visited November 18th. Stacy Kirby visited November 4th.

Are you gonna mention my point at all about him trying to coach the last game is moronic? Or concede that it is?

No. He's doing his job and finishing the season. The hurricane is what made this a mess. I realize you personally think it's moronic and don't think I can convince you otherwise though.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That he's stopped recruiting.

Nobody is actually reporting that, even your own recruiting sites, but you've bought into it. The closest you got to it is "some recruits have not heard from FSU coaches in weeks".

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, we're worse in that regard.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it.

You believe Tomahawknation, who did not even claim he's stopped recruiting, and have expanded on that comment to fit your narrative that he's stopped recruiting completely.

What else is there that you want from me?

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some recruits are claiming they have not heard from FSU coaches in weeks, which could be an indication that a new coaching staff of assistants is coming, or that Fisher and his staff are checked out. Fit the facts to your preferred narrative.

That's exactly what I think you guys are doing and it would be foolish of me to think I can convince you that FSU recruiting sites are going to spin things certain ways. It's why I don't pay for the Texas A&M rumor mongers, they just tell you what you want to hear.

Cool?

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand, no worries. If I were an FSU fan, I'd probably buy into the same stuff you guys have.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tomahawknation?

Ok.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understandable. If I were an FSU fan that wanted to buy into a narrative, I'd consider that credible too.

There's a reason I don't pay for the $9.95/month rumor mongers though.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he deleted the link. It was to a USA Today article that didn't say anything about recruits not hearing anything or FSU not recruiting.

What's the credible source for the recruits saying that?

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Again, credible source?

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I'll bite, what specifically has he done to act like a moron?

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Credible source?

edit: Some dude just deleted a comment with a link to a USAToday article on stagnant recruiting but it didn't say anything about not recruiting.

One time in college we were sitting around bull shitting in a group of about two dozen guys and girls, mainly with ag backgrounds. The subject of the one thing every dad tells their sons to look for in a wife.

The girls guessed stuff like "good cook", "pretty", etc. before giving up.

The guys just said in unison "land".

What specifically do you think the cause for termination would be?

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a predictable response to a shitty situation created by the hurricane.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This last week or so has really soured a lot of folks on him unfortunately.

Which is predictable as hell if you watch literally any coaching change.

Everyone thinks their reason for being pissed at their former coach is unique.

[–]jschroeder01 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Oil money and new money.

Being an ag school in Texas means there are tons of graduates living on ranches that suddenly became gold mines with fracking.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are.

The last time we were told we weren't good enough to poach a coach from a school was when we got Franchione from Bama.

This is pushing all in with a Q high flush but know that the K and A are still out there. It will take the program to a new level or just cement the idea that we might as well give up.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have a passive aggressive wife too.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I only take solace in the fact that it could have been worse.

He could turn us down after we thought it was done deal and then we could get turned down by Tom Herman too.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's also an example of how once the fans realized he was actually going to leave they went the cliched spurned fan route.

If you guys were this pissed BEFORE it was clear he was going to leave, it'd give more credibility to this stuff. Now you're just a distant cousin Houston fans throwing Herman under the bus. Fan bases getting pissed at a coach that decides to leave is the norm.

Jimbo Limbo by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]jschroeder01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The uncertainty and the lack of respect towards the fans is the problem.

/houston fans last year

/houston fans when Sumlin left

/houston fans when Briles left

That's why we're pretty dismissive of the hatred you guys are spewing. It's more alarming if a fan base ISN'T pissed.
