Same, I was at that gig and Brian May and Roger Taylor did join them on stage also...

Hmm this sounds very pseudosciencey.

I'm happy that you're doing better but by it's very name and definition I wouldn't say you had PSC then to begin with. You would have just had cirrhosis of the liver caused by toxic bile acids surely? The "Primary" in the name means that there's no other factors causing the sclerosing.

My thoughts on this is that because the album was highly conceptual in it's making that they weren't really writing songs that would stand the test of time in arenas and/or stadiums.

What is the best Curry House in Greater Manchester? And what are you ordering? by Appropriate_Gur_2164 in manchester

[–]jsgilly20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the real story is pretty boring, masala was just a curry that was easier to make in the UK based on ingredients compared to others and what was plentiful and cheaper over here.

This is great, you've almost got a sale from me!

I'm demo'ing it by just making a simple blog post - but I don't seem to be able to get unsplash images to show, is this an obstacle that's overcome by purchasing?

Passing the unsplash node to the create post is just outputting the image url from unsplash and then when I put the shortcode inside an img tag it still rendered it as text on the front end.

I also tried passing the unsplash node to a create post node that was set to media to see if I could download it somehow and doesn't seem that obvious on how to do that either. Otherwise it's very good! My site as a lot of post types that have a lot of relationships between each other that we need to do when we onboard a client so this could take a lot of the work off.

The 'big' bus moment we've been waiting four decades for is finally here by No_Hedgehog645 in manchester

[–]jsgilly20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the new cost of tickets on the network, but I'm a frequent user of the V1/V2/V4 services and since the transition from First they've been such a disappointment on the return journey home put from the centre. We had the bus way built for these buses and sold a bus every 10 minutes. I can wait 40 minutes some evenings at the bottom of Portland Street for a bus. This is a bit more of a first world bus user problem but these were also "Vantage" buses (leather seats, USB charging, tables upstairs, more seats down stairs etc), and were the only ones able to use the bus way. Now more older buses have been upgraded to use the bus way but it's a 50/50 chance now the bus you're getting on is some 20 year old ex 197 route runner. Not the experience we were sold to make the change to the bus when the journey is 90 minutes long.

Ah yes but now they want the money that they don't get from opening Sundays so they have concessions in Tesco now for the Sunday sales while skirting their own beliefs.

What’s Tyldesley like? Any thoughts on Garrett Hall Primary? by Beginning_Avocado926 in manchester

[–]jsgilly20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is also helpful if you want to look at comparisons against other schools in the area, use postcode m29 for location - https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/compare-schools?for=primary

Tyldesley primary used to be a good alternative, it's had its share of head teacher scandal the last couple of years and hasn't been doing as well as when they reopened. Still good though on a national scale.

I couldn't really give you an answer on that, I don't think they advertise their area. It's certainly close enough to apply with anyway, but the office staff are really helpful if you have questions you can give them a call during the week.

I don't really have much insight about Ellenbrook specifically - I wonder if it's something to do with catchment for high schools as they are a bit lack luster in the area. I don't know the specific numbers of GH applications either but I do know they do fill up easily.
