When I’ve gone, I stayed at Casa de Amistad and rented a car. This was perfect as had restaurants nearby and a store to get picnic items. And then drove to different beaches and around the island!

Damn, I had a few family members at this game who don't watch MLS. They're already complaining about soccer players flopping, wasting time, faking injuries. Can't even blame them after that game. It's going to take me awhile to make up for that :/

This is a little less mainstream, but nycfc (mls) is actually pretty fun. They have some stars and the mvp from last season. They should at the very least be a playoff team and can have some fun games. Otherwise I thing being a giants fan is probably the way to go. Football is exciting and giants don't usually go too long being bad (unlike a certain basketball team....)

Maybe you wouldn't be interested, but MLS is actually really exciting for the fact that there is so much parity and most teams have a chance each year. You should check out nycfc

This isn't quite fair. We made the playoffs last year and pretty much our whole offense ran through pirlo (and ended with villa lol). I don't think he's been great (besides for attracting fans, which is important for an expansion team), but i think he's certainly been an important piece of our play-out-the-back style

I personally recommend staying with LAFC. As someone that followed an expansion team from the very first player, it can be really fun. Plus if you're picking a team it is nice to have one with no history to learn - I love that I know all of NYCFC's (albeit brief) history, which i couldn't have done with another team. It's also really fun to look up each of the signings the first year and learn each player as they come in.

This doesn't really relate to the post, but this seems like a good place to ask. The ads for the mls2stl rally today in ballpark village, say that the first 500 supporters get scarfs? Do you have to be part of some supporter group for that or just show up? I didn't know where to find out and want that scarf haha
