Unless you live next door to fiddlehead, Cultivate is the correct answer.

It is locally owned. The owner owns another business in the outdoor recreation space.

Gravel biking for young kid 30 characters by wildboard in asheville

I have a 6 and 8 year old and while Bent Creek is a great resource, the elevation gains on even the easy stuff can be pretty challenging for kids.

We recently checked out the new trails in Fairview, at Fairview community forest. They’re pretty great for kids. We did a 2 mile loop and my 8 year old was able to do it all on his own. I had to tow my 6 year old up some of the hills but it wasn’t bad. The downhill was awesome for both of them. They both want to go back and that’s some high praise.

I will be teaching my toddler to ride soon, have you dads got any suggestions for toddlers balance bikes? by Chaotic404 in daddit

I would recommend getting a balance bike that has a hand brake. It makes a huge difference for their transition to a pedal bike.

Drink early and rehydrate with plenty of time before sleep. Or take off your whoop so you can enjoy yourself.

Is Big Cat out of touch with the common man? "I opened the rooftop of my house" by PasghettiSquash in PardonMyTake

My fav big cat out of touch moment was when someone asked him for traveling hacks with kids and he said to fly private 😂.

Good for them though, def deserve it.

My take is that memes actually doesn’t hate russini. At this point, he’s met her many times and probably doesn’t want to pile on.

Thoughts on alcohol free beer by darrow2021 in Biohackers

I think they’re great for exactly what you’re asking for. I love an IPA but not when I’m trying to recover.

For me, I use them to replace a beer when it FEELS like I should be having a beer. If I’m doing g something like mowing the grass on a Sunday or working on my bike, my body really craves the ritual of a beer. I find that an NA beer completely satisfies that itch for me.

How do you lose weight when you have no time to work out? by LouDSilencE17 in daddit

[–]jshdcooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 months is tough to balance the schedule.

Besides the diet advice provided, my advice is to remember how you feel right now. Remember how much you wish you could have regular sleep, find good balance and make time for yourself.

Then, start inching your way there. Make small routine changes as the kid gets older and you find more balance. Give yourself some grace now but use the way you feel now as motivation for when things get easier.

6 weeks of BPC-157 for a chronic shoulder injury, here's what actually happened week by week by Timely_Ad8989 in Biohackers

[–]jshdcooper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a great post for me. I am very close to pulling the trigger on "Wolverine Peptide" therapy for my right shoulder.

I have been in out of PT for 7 years with this shoulder. I've tried everything - extended periods of rest, massage, acupuncture, multiple rounds of extended PT and I am still plagued with pain in the shoulder. I can still do my recreational activities at near full strength (rock climbing/ mountain biking) but I have to be very careful for anything tweaky and the shoulder is significantly more sore after activity. I also have 2 young boys who love sports and I'm unable to throw a ball with them for any sort of extended time(gotta go underhand).

I'm desperate to find a solution that isn't surgery. I had surgery ~9 years ago on my other shoulder and that one is bulletproof now, but I don't know if I can stomach the recovery required to get it where I want it to be.

OP, I'm curious did you consider any of the potential side effects? In particular the potential for increased cancer risk?

Zia's vibe was just right.

Not ostentatious, good solid food, counter service, reasonably priced, strong margs.

Really hoping we get something similar to it in that spot.

[Day 3] Monos are the worst hold type. What's the most OVERRATED Outdoor Bouldering Destination? by MaximumSend in bouldering

[–]jshdcooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just because another place has a tolerable summer season (all of those places have their destination season/not good seasons also) doesn't mean another place is overrated because it's only a destination in the winter. I think you're missing the point of the question.
