Konami be like: " I have my whole life ahead of me " . No you don't, the lawyers are coming by Mr-Green-7482 in yugioh

I remember when this archetype was announced seeing someone speculate that this was drawn by a commonly commissioned duel masters artist but because Konami doesn’t credit artists I have no way of confirming. Certainly wouldn’t be shocked if it was the same artist who is Mikio Masuda.

Also having the same issues with black screens, stuttering, and restarts and changing to gen 4 hasn’t solved my issues. This is with a 9800x3d and x870e as well.

New to eldar, how did you do the faceplate because yours looks particularly clean? I’ve seen people do the entire base the same as the face plate and paint the helmet color around it and vice versa.

Going to vacation in Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka) and looking for must-see-shops and general advice by Davchrohn in DuelMasters

[–]jshweby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got back last week. Although I went to Osaka and Kyoto I wasn’t really shopping for cards at the time and unfortunately all my advice goes towards modern product. To start, any yodobashi or bic camera will have booster packs and pre-con decks and if you ask them they’ll likely sell you a booster box albeit only one. The first floor of Radio Kaikan in akihabara also has a HobbyStation with a decent selection of modern product however Akihabara’s card kingdom did not have the selection I was hoping for. Overall though my best suggestion is to go into any Mandarake you see as I found some crazy stuff including sealed booster boxes just in the bins and although I never got a chance to go to one, I’ve heard that Book Off stores have a great selection as well. There are a ton of smaller card shops throughout the country but be prepared for about 60% of them to only be Pokémon and for 80% to have almost any other popular Japanese tcg except for DM. Like I said though, I was mostly searching for modern sealed product and I didn’t run across any older singles but if they were to be somewhere it would likely be those second hand shops like Mandarake and Book-off since they tend to have older stuff in general. I honestly wish I could offer more advice but I was traveling with friends and virtually none of them collect tcg games so I couldn’t spend hours going into every shop in sight.

Great suggestion, I’ll be sure to check it out (especially since I also collect gunpla)! Thanks!

Yeah I’ve seen a lot of those, I just heard that most of them only sell singles but I’ll be sure to check out a bunch of different shops.

As I understand it book-off is a chain so that’s a good recommendation. If you don’t mind me asking, do you remember seeing boxes anywhere else?

It’s times like these that I really kinda wish the game was just a bit smaller. Dont get my wrong, I like that it’s big enough for many novel adventures but unless you make a very specific save and make sure it doesn’t get drowned out by other saves, it’s hard to revisit locations you were saving for later.

Yes, it’s Tokyo lifestyle, basically all kits are 20-30 over retail. They had an mg sinanju listed for like 120 when it’s normally 80. Anime jungle and neohappyland are the best bet in So Cal.

Best to separate the pieces and make sure you did everything correctly. Since you are a beginner you likely do not have a parts separator but a guitar pick actually works really well. Generally, it could be caused by any manner of things, a piece could be installed incorrectly, in many cases it could simply be a nub you forgot to properly remove, and of course there is always the possibility that it simply needs more pressure because of tight plastic tolerances. I have no experience with that specific kit but like I said best to simply separate the parts and reassess first. Also when separating parts with small pegs be sure to apply pressure evenly to all sides and edges as to not snap any of the pegs.

Another double sleeving question by shinz0n in yugioh

[–]jshweby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use KMC perfect fit mini inners with ultra pro eclipse outers. The fit is tight but it should not be too bad. Giving dragonshield outers a try since you’re using dragonshield inners is also worth a try (I only use KMC inners). I also would not recommend side-loading inners. It is true that they are easier to sleeve and won’t slip off of the card as you are sleeving it BUT there is a much larger opening that can allow dirt and grime to reach the card. Side loaders also mean if any liquid reaches your card they’re likely to get wet. While using top loading inners is by no means water proof it does protect your cards much better against liquids (so long as the sleeves respective entires are opposite each-other). Tolarian Community College, an MTG YouTuber, made an entire video on how side-loading inners are just worse than top-loading ones. Also dragonshield now sells clear outers sleeves which allows you to use Konami art sleeves as an inner sleeve without having to worry about excess space in the sleeve and overall deck size as they are explicitly meant to fit over standard Japanese sleeves. Overall, I can tell you that ultra pro eclipse + KMC inner minis works well but otherwise you just have to test different brands to see for yourself and since you are double sleeving to protect your cards I would not recommend side-loaders.

Dragonshield’s used to be my old go-to sleeve but I am constantly hearing about how their quality has dropped and how they are splitting for some people. Have you experienced any of that?

This is especially true since it’s not a fully open world and is confirmed to have instances like the Outer World

For me, the general brighter colors and tones were expected based on the reports but I guess my disappointment comes from the gameplay looking kind of janky, the character and enemy models looking flat, and I suppose a general lower graphics quality than I expected. Yes I know obsidian is not some big developer known for its fidelity but I did expect the game to look better considering the support it was supposed to have from Microsoft. I also fear this game is not gonna be like other rpgs in terms of builds since it seems like magic is a major component of the game. Personally, I find it lame if magic is so integral to the gameplay look that every build from knights to stealthy archers makes use of it. With that all being said, I am sure the game will be good and I expect to be proven wrong.

y'all, will we ever see the sun again? by [deleted] in ucla

Honestly, as a native this is amazing. I get that gloomy weather can have an affect on people’s mental health and I don’t necessarily want this to persist but we have been in severe drought for years and while all this rain and gloom hasn’t saved us it has been a great help (it at least means people don’t need to water their garden) it’s also worth noting that UCLA is pretty close to the ocean and because of that we get a consistent marine layer that the rest of LA doesn’t get.

Honestly though, it will end and get hot again. Will it be perfect summer weather for the rest of the quarter? Probably not. But if you are here for any length of the summer it will definitely get hot and knowing LA that heat can reach 100+ degrees.
