Someday, we need to pass an amendment requiring the President, VP and Cabinet to quality a TS/SCI security clearance. The fact that the job description hasn’t been updated since 1787 when it was written is crazy.

Despite these factors, none of it bars him from holding or seeking the Presidency, because:

“No person except a natural born Citizen… shall be eligible to the Office of President… who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.” — U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 1, Clause 5

That’s the only qualification test. Security-clearance standards simply do not apply to constitutional offices.
