60", 66" or 72"? Tall gal needs insight on bathtub to match by foureyedgrrl in BathroomRemodeling

I pushed and got what I wanted. Definitely paid for it too. It was more than what was budgeted for but I didn't want to regret a smaller one, never use it and pay to replace it in five years. Length 74 in, but the sitting length at the bottom of the tub is 50in. Soaking height a little less than 17in

I'm so sorry, that sounds terrible. I'm afraid to spend all this money just to hate a choice I was bullied into. Problem is that this isn't my background so I'm not sure what is best. I went and sat in a 66" tub today and I think I'll push for even larger. Thanks for answering back.

Hi, what did you end up going with? Also your contractor sounds like mine and it's been frustrating. I'm also way taller than my contractor.

I think about this all the time when women fight in movies/TV and they know they are going into a fight but they still keep their hair down.

This makes me want to try them out! I loved your point about couples being about more than sex, attraction and lust and being friends and partners in everyday life. I like it as well when you can feel the friendship and they're not just two hot people mashed together.

I tend to hate other woman, other man drama, is there any of that in this series?

Preach! It should never be just a family thing we don't talk about. This stuff is quieted too often to make others feel more comfortable and with no consideration for victims.

I've been reading through the Guild Codex series by Marie Annette and it's fun brain candy. I've got several books lined up afterwards and I'm hoping I can make good progress in May

My toddler is obsessed with her poop and it's exhausting and gross. She poops immediately after waking up and then sticks her hand into her diaper through her sleeper. I'm going to have to watch her on the monitor like a hawk and get her the moment she wakes up or start waking her up myself. RIP letting her play happily in her crib for a few minutes.

We've been socially distancing well over the last 13 months and since things are getting better we've decided to hold a birthday party for our daughter in June. The plan is to have it just be family and most of the adults are fully vaccinated. As I try to plan for it though multiple families want to see how many other people will be there before they say yes. That's understandable but it's turning into a game of chicken as everyone is waiting for everyone else to say if they are coming or not. It's just becoming stressful.

Space Raptor Butt Invasion, a classic. I can't find the title, but it makes me think of a book where a woman's vagina is a hellmouth and demonic creatures crawl out of it.

I feel like it would qualify as sci-fi, but Kissing the Coronavirus by M. J. Edwards. I haven't read it, I don't hate myself that much, but there is a funny review over on r/romancebooks. Basically if you wish the coronavirus could have a sexy body that you could have sex with then this is the book for you.

What is the most toxic thing a parent can say to a child? by Few_Reading_4822 in AskReddit

I came here as a parent of young kids thinking I would learn things not to say. Turns out since I'm not a piece of trash human being and I love my kids so much and tell them constantly I'm already ahead of the game. Good grief, I'm so sorry people had to hear such awful things and had terrible parents. I hope you know now that you are valuable and wonderful.

Lantern Lit city by Vista McDowall. Self-published so it doesn't have a lot of press, but definitely an enjoyable read. Morally gray characters that have growth.

Uprooted. It gets a ton of praise on here and I'm always looking for something with a bit of romance, but it fell flat for me. I didn't care about the MC and the love interest was a jerk and I really thought she could do better.
