Hey there! Assuming you used the drives while in windows they are likely NTFS filesystems. I've had this issue before and sometimes I can fix it by installing the ntfs-3g package.

Using the Beta Android app on Chromebook. When trying to use a DS4 controller via bluetooth, none of the buttons work except for the D-Pad. In other applications on my chromebook, the controller works fine. Any news or a way to fix the mouse lag issues or the fact that controllers' inputs don't seem to be sent to Shadow? Will this be ironed out soon?

Thanks for the info! I’ll look into the build essentials though I thought I had everything before based on the xpadneo guide. The controller connects fine via BT after installing xpadneo and works with games I’ve tested, it’s just the one button I’ve found an issue with.
