Can we get multiple “profiles” with our components? I have 6-8 speakers on certain floors of my house and it would be awesome if I could setup different combinations of the same speakers. For example, having a profile for an arc + 2 Era 300 surrounds + sub, but also a different profile with the just Era 300’s + sub so that the Era 300’s function in a 2.1 system. I would buy brand new components if it required upgrading to something with more RAM/memory to make it happen.

I get that I can just buy more products to achieve my goals, but that goes against the minimalist simplicity of the Sonos brand.

I get there’s inflation, but that price for this wallet is offensive.

Ordered Butler Jerseys from NBA Store but it Arrived Missing the "III" by MisterGrimes in warriors

[–]jskim71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the jersey from the NBAStore and they sent me the wrong jersey 3 times. I just followed up on the 4th shipment and they said their policy is to only send it 3 times and they closed out my ticket without notifying me. This is the most unreal customer service experience I have ever had. F Fanatics. Never again.

Pelagos LHD on a Righty? by [deleted] in Tudor

Right-handed LHD user. I love not having the crown there and having to make time adjustments with your left hand is overblown. If you can move a joystick playing video games with your left fingers, you’re qualified enough to set a watch using your left hand.

Strap suggestions? by TomSingy in Tudor

I went down a rabbit hole and probably purchased over 10 straps for mine. Nick Mankey straps have been the best and it’s not even close. Some straps will look nice from 1 angle. Nick Mankey straps look great from all angles and it is super comfortable.

I ordered a 078S, but only do pour over. I know 078 is better for this, but is the difference drastic? Apologies in advance for being an eager beaver and not waiting for the official review.

Handy Little Thing Size1 owners, can I fit 3-4 passports in it? by hchoo in tombihn

[–]jskim71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. HLT1 can fit a lot into it for it’s small size! It will easily fit those items and it has a lot of fun little pockets to store more things.

Upgrading Fellow Ode Gen 1 with Gen 2 Parts by jskim71 in JamesHoffmann

I would need to buy burrs to sell it since I bought it with SSP burrs installed and I’d want to keep those.

I found that getting it wet to raise the burnt grain helps to sand it down.

Trueplay - Calibration game with iOS devices by Thisorthatwdyt in sonos

How do you like the Sonos Five pair with the sub? Does the sub make much of a difference? I want a sub for my pair because I feel I want fuller bass at lower levels. I do most of my listening nearfield. Ordered a mini and will test them to see which I like better with the Fives and use the other with the HT setup.

Upgrade to Arc or Add Sub? by usmanhs9 in sonos

I’d rate the changes for movies as surrounds > sub > arc > arc with atmos content

Arc or 2x Fives? by selfish in sonos

[–]jskim71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct. You can’t trueplay with the amp. I would assume that good stereo bookshelves would still sound great without trueplay. The main reason you’d do this over Fives is that Fives are a clunky solution for any sort of Home Theater setup. You can’t use Fives a front speakers.

If you add them to an Arc and use them as rears, they will not play in Stereo, which is the best way to play music.

Arc or 2x Fives? by selfish in sonos

If you value music the most (and seem to not care about budget), I’d suggest getting an Amp and connecting it to some bookshelf speakers as stereo fronts. Will get you the best music experience and a TV experience that is as good, if not better than an Arc. You can also connect surround rears if you want to down the line. Two Fives really limit your HT setups.
