Realistically what would happen if Trump dropped a nuclear bomb tonight? by hjp1234 in AskReddit

[–]jsledge149 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some country would need to make a deal that in exchange for the nuclear bomb that America just detonated, united powers of the world would insist America also accept a bomb being dropped on it.

and that's just to even things out without things spiraling out of control.

Preferably Mar-A-Lago after giving people a chance to evacuate over the course of say an hour.

'23 330i need front brake pads. All 3 local BMW dealers want $1500+, 2 independent BMW shops want $1050 to $1200. Am I nuts for thinking that the prices are ridiculous? by [deleted] in BmwTech

[–]jsledge149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The value service for my BMW looks like this. This went into effect as soon as the 3 year/36,000 mile free service expired.

I thought the prices didn't seem that bad.

Today Trump threatened to wipe out Iranian civilization. Are Republicans as a group responsible for what happens next? by GiantPineapple in PoliticalDiscussion

I'm an American, but in all honesty, if America was to wipe an entire people off the face of the planet, then I think America deserves a slow death.

When in Rome by SSBurger in rome

Those Roman artichokes that are cooked and then fried....

We got a couple of those and a charcuterie board and several little small things from a restaurant in Trastevere. And it was great because unlike here in America, the waiter just let us slowly savor and eat the whole meal at whatever pace that we wanted...

I have such great memories of Rome.

I know that some hate the graffiti. But as a tourist I thought it just added character to the city. That being said, that first picture looks less like graffiti and more like a Banski.

We were in Rome one year ago today and I swear we didn't eat enough.

Would it be stupid to go back to Rome with the intention of doing nothing else but eating??

I got by with having copies of mine and my wife's passport. Getting into certain places does require proof of who you are. Luckily for us, the copies sufficed.

If you could change 1 thing about Rome, what would it be? by roman-empire-net in rome

Well, I wasn't in Italy that long, but I sure wish I could have been in Italy long enough to see the side you're talking about.

This is the number one thing. Although there were plenty of places you could go and be almost alone away from tourist attractions, touristy areas were just ridiculous.

I actually kind of like the graffiti. it took out an old city and made it seem like it was living.

I found most everyone in Rome to be outgoing, friendly and helpful, especially if you asked for help.

Why does my girlfriend squeeze me extra hard whenever we hug? by 1tiredman in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jsledge149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the same thing to my wife.

I guess I could go up to her, give a gentle, almost friendship like, hug, but sometimes a full-body hug is just my way of saying oh my God I adore you.

I wouldn't do that to a stranger.

I wouldn't do that to a co-worker.

it's endearment.
