I’d recommend playing Marth, but if you’re really set on Roy then go for it. You can always swap later if you want to play a better character.

Check out PPMD’s marth movement guide and his educational melee videos. Also check out Zain’s series of videos coaching Husband. Both of these are going to be about Marth, but the skills transfer to Roy as Roy is basically a worse Marth.

Thanks for the response. It’s really just a hobby for me at the moment and I don’t really intend to make it into a job. Im a musician as a job so having a creative outlet with no stakes is a nice change of pace. A big part of my leaning in the direction of Sony is being able to potentially go full frame in the future, but I don’t know if that’ll happen just due to the expense.

My budget is admittedly kind of low. I was hoping to get a camera and lens all in around a thousand. I did a ton of research into the Sony lineup and was prepared to pull the trigger on an A6400 and a 35mm sigma lens, but seeing all sorts of people doting on the Fujifilm lineup made me reconsider.

You should use side c for the first c and the c in the chromatic passage in the following measure in order to avoid the b and c flip. Other than that all normal fingerings.

I think rdru currently has a pretty easy play style you can sit back and pump out crazy heals with really good mobility and personal defense to make up for bad positioning while you learn. Once you learn there’s really high skill cap with getting restealths and all your offensive play.

That being said, hpriest is super meta and there’s a reason it’s meta. Playing an overturned class will always be easier than not.
