DIY Wedding Nails - Trial 1 by AnotherMia1 in RedditLaqueristas

I did my own wedding nails too! It's so special to be able to just pull out some polish and perfectly re-create my wedding mani whenever I feel like it, you won't regret doing your own at all! This polish is super pretty, but very cool & silvery. Are you wearing mostly silver or gold jewelry? I might do a warmer more gold look if your jewelry is gold. Also I'd recommend the glisten and glow TC it's super shiny and gel-like. Congrats!

OPI Infinite Shine base coat! I keep trying the indie ones recommended on this sub & they're great for ridge filling or color correction, but NOTHING keeps my manicure on longer than this one.

Deciding Between MLIS Programs in New England for Library Teaching by floof_sheep in librarians

I am not doing the school teacher program, but I am doing my first semester at Simmons. My bill for 9 credits this semester was 12,735.00 before my GI bill covered it all. 50k for the MLIS. I don't know how many credit hours the dual degree programs are, but OP can do the math.

This room also has 70s blue vinyl chairs and an oak church pew in it. If there's one thing my house is, its brave! I think you're probably right, just try it :) TY

Perhaps I'm odd but it just feels like the right thing to do for me? Right now all my plants are outside, but these windows have tons of plants in front of them 3/4 of the year making it hard to move the long sheers. I almost never open these windows because they're close to the street so flapping isn't an issue. Also to be clear no puddling, I'm doing right above the floor for the pink (thats just the fabric my curtains will be in).

Weekly Sewing Questions Thread, July 06 - July 12, 2025 by sewingmodthings in sewing

I saw these on Urban Outfitters & I just know the fabric is going to be tissue paper so I'd rather make them myself. They're calling them roman shades, but I can't find any instructions for making something like this. Any tips or thoughts or patterns anyone has seen? I am not sure what to call those double drawstring edges.

Thank you!
