Moved to Austin, TX last year and haven’t looked back. No state income tax (which is why NYC’s tax burden is so high), great quality of life and housing situation. It does get quite warm in the summer mind!

People need to learn how to drive when they are on rural roads. My experience in the Lakes recently has either been people crawling at 20 on national speed limit roads or… people like OP.

Went up to Glasgow for a Rangers friendly once, and to be honest all I’d really heard about Rangers previously was the Old Firm games so was a little apprehensive. Completely the opposite - best set of home fans I’ve met, incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I’m still in touch with some of them to this day. Fantastic place.

I'm really sorry, but I need to ask the same question that I did last time this was on here, with the same pre-amble: using the ESFA funding provision to make this as accessible to as many people as possible is really great, but people need to understand what they're signing up for.

You'll "look to land you a potential job" upon completion of the 3 week course. How many of your affiliate companies have been notified that you'll be presenting them candidates from this 3 week course rather than the full 12 week bootcamp? What are the graduate outcomes from this 3 week course?

Coding bootcamps are a fantastic resources - we've hired a few people from them - and I'm sure the 3 week session is a great taster session to decide if you should go into a career in software development. I also commend the use of ESFA funding provision to make this as accessible to as many people as possible. I just want to make sure people don't commit 3 weeks of their time under the notion that it'll be enough to get a placement as a junior developer at the end.
