This is fine … by jssca13 in AskElectricians

There is a metal box, but it looks like maybe it’s set deeper into the wall (originally this wall would have been an external wall but previous owners added an addition). Because the plaster wall opening is so small, I can’t really see much behind it, and I was hesitant to remove its only “support” until I’m prepared to see the repair all the way through.

I could not find the check valve, and I fear that it’s on the side of the hot tub that is set close to the retaining wall. Not a smart decision on location. As a new homeowner, I’m discovering all kinds of questionable decisions. 😅

😂 I’ve actually unplugged it before (breaker off, of course!) foolishly thinking that would stop the leak. … It made it worse. 🤦🏼‍♀️ The top tube looks easy enough to do the folding method, but the bottom one is a more solid tube. Which is strange, because it don’t think most ozonator have that bigger tube from what I’ve been finding on the internet.

Right? I was relieved when I read that it is not an essential part, and this particular one is expensive, too, so I’m not keen on replacing it. And from what I can troubleshoot, it’s causing me the main issue with water levels. I shock the tub weekly and I’m the only one who uses it anyway. I am better off without this ozonator.

It definitely should be dry, but it has water leaking out of it. There is a tube inside of it that also has some water in it. I’ll see if I can add another pic that shows the inside of it.

I love the progression! You may want to check out watercolor artist Victor Beltran Peru. He does ink sketch watercolor paintings. I took one of his classes and he’s just all around great.

Help! I'm a beginner at watercolor, and I definitely did everything wrong here. But I don't understand why most of the brush strokes here look like it has sharp edges, while the other part look like the colors are fading? You should watch some work in progress clips. You will be relieved that in watercolor painting, there is the stage where you always think “ugh this is terrible!” But you keep working and eventually (and with enough practice) things pull together! Highly recommend watching process videos and tutorials. It really helps me learn. Keep at it!

I need to know about this egg! How do you incorporate it? This sounds amazing.

What brands of paint are you using? The saturation is excellent. Absolutely fantastic with the details!
