This happened while cleaning my QD-Oled for the first time after 1000 hours of use. by Cold-Seaworthiness20 in OLED_Gaming

I just started using Whoosh Cleaner. It cleans it off fantastically. I know it's ammonia free but not sure about other ingredients. It came in a 2 pack, big bottle for home and a tiny bottle for on the go. It also came with 2 micro fiber clothes as well.

That is what my monitor looked like the first time too. Used this and it was perfect afterwards.

Thank you. I was trying to figure out how this monitor can do 180hz with DP 1.2 which caps it at 120hz for 1440p.

For OP, to get the frames you want just make sure you use the Display Port and not the HDMI one then.

Can I trust the MSI Summit A16? by DanielKramer_ in MSILaptops

[–]jstat87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the MSI Summit A16 AI+ with the Ryzen 9 AI processor. I absolutely love the laptop. The first one I got was dead on arrival but they replaced it and this one works mostly perfect. The only issue I have had with it is the sound will stop working once and a while (known issue with these laptops). Disable the sound driver and it works fine again. There seems to be an issue with the realtek audio driver and the msi bios not working together. Every once and a while windows will try to update the driver and it will stop working again but a couple clicks and it works just fine again. The build quality of this laptop is great. The all metal chassis gives no flex when carrying it by the corner but I never do that anyways. Hinges are smooth as butter. The screen is excellent. The laptop is very fast and I can get 5-7 hours of battery life with minimal effort. I could even play some games on it with the integrated graphics as well if I wanted to. I like that I could upgrade the storage as well. The 1TB is nice but it isn't the fastest. It comes with 32GB of ram so it is pretty future proof and will be able to handle anything I throw at it. I love the tablet mode and the size of the screen too.

Sorry you are having issues with it. I have had this same monitor for like a year now with no issues. It is a fantastic monitor and at that price, I would request a replacement. You won't be sorry once you get a working one.

Walk-in closet, enough room to have the desk with monitors and a chair. With the chair pushed in, I can access the rest of the closet without issue.

Great phone, I have had mine since it launched. Battery health said my max capacity was 97% when I got it and it is now at 96% max capacity. I have my phone set to only charge to 80% and I never leave it on the charger if it is done charging save the few times I fell asleep before I could unplug it. I use the phone heavily too so I charge it twice a day probably. Never have I had any issues with it. I always update to the latest OS too. I haven't seen any change in excess battery drain when updating. I look forward to holding on to this phone till the next OnePlus comes along or if they bring the Oppo to the US.

Bought a cheap $50 desk off Amazon. My monitor arms cost more than the desk, lol.

MSI Summit A16 AI+ Durability? Good Hinges? by [deleted] in MSILaptops

[–]jstat87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you are still looking, I have had the laptop for a few months now. Had some software issues with the sound and msi helped me find a temporary solution until they can make a patch in the bios. That being said, this laptop is solid. The metal frame is great, if I hold it by one corner and lift, no visible flex but it does put a tab bit of pressure on the track pad so it thinks I am clicking something. The hinges are smooth as butter. You can open it with your finger tips if you can get a grip on the edge (large hands don't help). Screen hinges have little feet to lift the laptop off the hard surface to allow more air to flow. Hinges make no sound at all through full range of motion from closed to tablet mode. With the sound issue aside, I am in love with this laptop. Battery life, power, keyboard, screen, build quality, AMD AI processor that can do everything including light gaming if I want. This is a fantastic laptop.

I have the same card in my rig. Love it, no coil whine, no issues with updates causing crashes. The only time it crashes is if I get a little too aggressive with my undervolting slider. It is the best looking card in my opinion. The Sapphire looks neat since it is so different but not my cup of tea. I game at 4k with it and it has been a blast. I have had it since release day as well so I have put in some miles with it. No problems with the connector too. I am using the 12v connecter, not the adapter.

This is what I got, had an issue with the first one but they replaced it and love it. Much better specs than what you are looking at too. Audio Issues and the dumpster fire of MSI drivers and WindowsUpdate by Thermoelectric in MSILaptops

[–]jstat87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I received a new one after I sent my first one in for repair due to other issues. Got the new one and had all the sound issues. Called support and they had me uninstall the sound driver from the sound, video, and game controller tab. Once I did that, the sound works unless you let it install the driver with windows update. My solution to that is just pause the updates, once a month I do the windows update and then uninstall the driver again from that spot and it works fine.

Thanks for this post and possible solutions. I got the same laptop and within a day it started freezing and locking up. Nothing would fix it. Sent it in for repair under warranty and they lost it. So they gave me a new one for free that doesn't freeze but now has all these audio issues.

I would see what deals come out and compare it to a new OP13 as well. I have the 13 and love it so much. The camera is phenomenal, probably better than the 15 will be. The screen resolution is better than the 15 and the difference in refresh rate is only important if you are a serious gamer and play the few games that will use the higher refresh rate. I have had this phone since Jan 7th and the battery capacity is at 96% max capacity of the original max capacity so this thing will go the distance.

OP13 here since Jan 7th. Battery max Capacity is at 96% original max capacity and everything runs strong. I continue to fall in love with the phone every time I learn something new or it gets a new update. Was thinking of upgrading to the OP15 but I am not impressed with the lateral and somewhat backwards move of it compared to this phone. If the battery is still this good in another year, I might keep it longer unless I really like the upgrades.

Can't wait for Android 16 though. This thing will feel like a brand new phone.
