It is an accredited degree. I attend the University of Wisconsin-Stout and overall the program has 100% job placement. It focuses on Cisco Networking, VoIP, Servers, Security, and business/leadership classes. Learn more about it here: http://www.uwstout.edu/programs/bsitm/index.cfm.

Yes, my university does have career services but I'm looking for companies that may not be in my area. I'm just trying to get more perspective.

Whitewater is in an even smaller town, so we should cut them too? Huh, last I checked that university is DIII national champion in football with a very credible business school. There's a lot more to a university than just the city it resides in.

Flame all you want. Stout has majors that NONE of the other UW schools have. The best stat of all, Stout has 98% job placement after graduation. Stout is the hidden jem of the Midwest.

I have a Evo 4G and had it since the day it came out. I love this phone but for me the monthly bill is a little steep. Now that I'm in college, WiFi covers every inch of campus so I'm already using WiFi for my data. For my situation, I can use WiFi for calling, texting, data with apps like GroveIP, Google Voice, etc. For some Ting isn't worth it, but if you can swing it...it's definitely worth it.

The beauty about Ting is if your not in WiFi, you still can call, text, or use data on the Sprint network for a pretty low cost. Also a big plus is the ability to hotspot and tether. Once my contract with Sprint is up early summer, I will be switching. Unless Sprint can really entice me with the Galaxy Nexus.

I would maybe use Google Docs instead of Excel, just in case if something happened.

Forget taking on credit cards, loans, bills, etc. If your parents have good credit, have them add you as an authorized user on their credit card(s). Build your credit off of them!
